TL;DR: Days of Our Lives hasn’t said a word, but fan sleuth Jason47 spotted closing-credits changes suggesting four actors quietly moved to contract status this month. Nothing here is confirmed by the show, but the receipts are pretty convincing.

Someone Actually Reads the Credits

Fans obsess over Salem’s Days of Our Lives storylines, but it takes a truly dedicated viewer to obsess over the credits crawl, and that’s exactly how this one got caught. According to the eagle-eyed poster, the same week newcomer Sydney Malakeh’s Sydney DiMera debuted, three familiar faces quietly leveled up too: Kate Roberts, Javi Hernandez and Lani Price all appear to have been bumped to contract.

The timeline lines up almost too neatly. Kate’s actress reportedly went contract on September 8, Javi’s on September 10, Sydney debuted on contract that same day, and Lani followed on September 16. It also explains why Lani and Javi were oddly missing from episodes despite being listed in the crawl those weeks, a glitch the fan account says was really just the paperwork catching up to reality.
