DAYS Weekly Spoilers: Homecomings stir old wounds, secrets get cornered, a surprise proposition lands, and a dangerous discovery rattles Salem.
THESE DAYS WEEKLY SPOILERS SHAKE EVERY CORNER OF SALEM
TL;DR: These DAYS Weekly Spoilers follow Anna DiMera and Tony DiMera coming home to honor Lexie Carver, EJ DiMera learning how Kristen DiMera spends her days, and Javi Hernandez finding Leo Stark in real trouble, while Dominic Marino rubs Sydney DiMera and Dante Vitali the wrong way and Chanel Dupree talks about leaving town.

This Week in Salem
These DAYS Weekly Spoilers start on a bittersweet note, with familiar faces drifting back to town to pay their respects, and they finish with a lot of people hearing things they would rather not. In between, Dominic Marino keeps collecting visitors who all seem to want a piece of him, and a warehouse-sized mystery drags more and more people into its orbit. The rumor mill is running overtime, and the only alibi anyone owns is a good poker face.
Elsewhere, a few people reach for the exit while others dig in, and the pull of old loyalties gets tested more than once. Friendships, marriages and family ties pick up bruises before Friday, and Salem has never met a bruise it could not turn into a plot. Grab a blanket and a snack, because the town has no plans to be quiet.

Monday, November 9th
Sentiment takes over the square as Anna DiMera and Tony DiMera arrive to honor Lexie Carver, a visit that is heartfelt on the surface and, in a town that treats every reunion like a plot device, probably carrying extra luggage underneath. The square has been dressed for memories lately, so two returning faces stepping into the middle of them fits right in. Don’t mistake the tenderness for a quiet day, since this show has never let a funeral wreath go unaccompanied by a secret.
EJ DiMera gets a clear picture of how Kristen DiMera spends her days, and the news arrives at the worst moment for a man whose desk is crowded with a laptop he no longer controls, a birth certificate that could rearrange his family tree, and a son he has publicly cut loose. It is hard to feel sorry for EJ, though the writers keep trying to make it a full-time job. Whatever Kristen has been doing, his week now has one more headache on the pile.
Lani Price pitches in for a pal who is in a bind, which sounds like a kind and uncomplicated gesture until you remember what town this is. She is newly back on the force, so it is fair to wonder whether she is feeling generous or simply cannot say no to someone in need. Soap logic says a favor this casual will have strings attached by sundown.
Tuesday, November 10th
Rachel Black sits down with Brady Black and gets something heavy off her chest, a conversation that lands after time in the hospital and plenty of long, quiet hours to think. Brady has had a lot of practice at taking hard news calmly lately, which is a skill nobody wants to be good at. Whatever she says, expect a lot of listening and very little pacing.
Holly Jonas begins to doubt Amy Choi’s motives, and since Holly still insists she locked eyes with Sophia Choi across the square, she is not in a trusting mood. When nobody believes you saw a ghost, everyone with a secret starts to look like a suspect. Amy has been handed a stress test she does not know she is taking.
Maggie Kiriakis offers Sarah Horton some heartfelt advice, and Sarah is in a spot to need it, having been cleared by laptop evidence, split from Brady and now waiting on a very long emotional to-do list from the man in the hospital bed. If love had a customer service line, hers would be on hold for weeks. Maggie has seen a great deal of life and an impressive amount of Kiriakis chaos, so her words carry weight.
Xander Kiriakis hands Philip Kiriakis a warning, and coming from someone who was shot, revived and told to lawyer up, it is hard to wave away. Philip has a talent for keeping things under wraps, including a poker game and a team-up he is in no hurry to explain, so the warning may land on a conscience that is already busy.
Dominic and Sydney DiMera start rubbing each other the wrong way, a collision of two people who have studied each other from a distance ever since a phone number changed hands. Sydney has the family’s detective instincts and an itch for answers, while Dominic arrived declaring that Salem would suit him fine, a bold claim to make before meeting a DiMera.

Wednesday, November 11th
Theo Carver hands Lani another thread to pull, and Lani, who is already juggling favors and a stack of unanswered questions, hardly has room for another puzzle piece. Theo has spent the past few days hauling memorial boxes and overhearing conversations he was never invited to, so whatever he has is bound to be interesting.
Chanel Dupree surprises Johnny DiMera with a proposal he did not see coming, because she has decided it is time to pack up and go. The timing is dramatic, since the couple got the all-clear on Chanel’s health and then watched Johnny’s father cut him loose within days. Salem also excels at dramatic irony, as the masked woman who handed back her son’s dropped toy on Halloween was Sophia, and Chanel walked off none the wiser.
Javi Hernandez gets a nasty shock when he finds Leo Stark caught in real danger, and it stings all the more for a man still glowing from a fresh reunion. Leo has a gift for finding trouble with the enthusiasm of a golden retriever finding a stick. A bait shop that fools nobody was never going to stay a secret forever.
Thursday, November 12th
Dante Vitali squares off with Dominic, which is notable because the two once shared a boarding school dorm room. Old roommates usually fight about dishes, but these two have bigger items on the list.
EJ unloads on Tony, which is either a sign of trust or a sign of how few allies he has left. After the last few weeks of dead ends and dropped bombs, the unburdening has a lot of ground to cover.
Tate Black voices his growing worries to Brady, who has had a very full month of emotionally complicated conversations. Tate has plenty of material to choose from, including a Sophia sighting that Holly cannot shake and a long list of people acting strange around him.
Belle Black accidentally steps on a raw nerve with Chad DiMera, and Chad has had so many sore spots lately that she had plenty of targets. He has gone from a lecture by his brother about journalistic independence to a chilly run-in with Cat Greene, so his patience is running low.
Old memories resurface for Marlena Evans, which is a sentence that does a lot of work in a town where she has been possessed, abducted and, if the recap writers are to be believed, taken on a tour of heaven. This time the ghosts come with a birth certificate attached.

Friday, November 13th
Javi grows more worried about Leo with every passing hour, and the clock on that anxiety is not a friendly one. He has barely had time to enjoy being back together, and now he carries himself like a man in a very sad ballad.
Steve Johnson pushes Gwen Rizczech to explain herself, and since Gwen was the one who steered Leo toward a certain dockside building, her explanation may not be comfortable. She asked him to keep clear of the place, and a pledge from Leo has about the shelf life of a carton of milk.
Lani brings Xander news that would worry anybody, let alone a man with a gun nobody registered on his record. The legal fine print has plenty left to say to him.
Marlena sits Dominic down and trades her usual diplomacy for hard truths about where he came from. After weeks of voicemail and wondering, the two finally get to the part that matters, and it is unlikely to be tidy.
Rita lets everyone know exactly whose corner she is in. Anyone who watched her greet Dominic when he checked in will not be shocked, but the way she says it may land harder than anyone expects.

Salem Has Run Out of Places to Hide
Before the week closes, there are a few stakes worth chewing on. Does Chanel’s plan to leave town hold up, or does Johnny talk her out of it? Does Marlena’s honesty bring Dominic closer, or push him further away? And when Javi catches up with Leo, is it a rescue or a reckoning?
Tell us on our Facebook page: do you want Marlena and Dominic to patch things up, or do the DiMeras close ranks?
What did you think?
