GH’s Scout Cain And Danny Morgan Each Hold Half Of A Drew Cain Nightmare, And They Aren’t Speaking
Scout Cain overheard half of GH’s biggest secret, Danny Morgan lived the other half, and a punch is keeping them silent. Could they crack it?
SCOUT CAIN AND DANNY MORGAN COULD CRACK THE CASE TOGETHER
TL;DR: GH’s Scout Cain overheard her father send a witness out of town, and Danny Morgan is the teenager who stumbled over Jack Brennan’s body, so could two half-siblings who aren’t speaking be holding the two halves of Drew Cain’s biggest secret? Keep up with every twist in the Port Charles spoilers.
Two Teenagers, Two Secrets, One Silent Treatment
Scout Cain is sitting on the most dangerous thing a teenager can overhear, and she hasn’t realized it yet. On September 30 she stood outside her father’s house and heard Drew Cain and Ava Jerome tell Vito to get out of Port Charles. She has confided in her grandmother and a few friends about everyone else’s mess, but on screen she hasn’t said a word about that conversation to anyone.
Danny Morgan holds the other half. He and Charlotte Cassadine were the kids who found Jack Brennan floating in the water on the last night of August, panicked and ran. They later worked out that someone had to have moved the body, and Charlotte lost her bracelet that night, last seen snagged on the dead man himself.
Scout’s path to a confession isn’t clear, either. Her nanny reports back to Drew on where she goes and who she sees, so every step toward telling someone has to get past a spy in her own kitchen. Drew has also kept Danny from seeing her, which makes a daughter who knows too much a daughter he can ground for life.
Neither teen knows what the other one is carrying. Put the two stories side by side, though, and the picture starts to look a lot like Drew’s handwriting.

The Punch That Keeps The Pieces Apart
A single punch is doing what no villain could, keeping the only two people who might connect the dots from ever talking. On September 30 Danny and Rocco Falconeri went at it over Charlotte’s blackmail plan, and Danny threw the first punch after Rocco said Danny’s late mother would have shipped him off. The next day Scout called her brother a thug, told him to stay away, and then announced to Rocco that she never wants to see Danny again.
Scout Cain and Danny are half-siblings, tied together by the mother they both lost. Danny is the son of Jason Morgan, Scout is Drew’s daughter, and both of them are used to being treated like they’re made of glass. Each is guarding a secret without knowing the other holds the match.
Charlotte Is Conveniently Out Of The Picture
Valentin Cassadine and Lulu Spencer packed Charlotte off to boarding school in Maine for the failed blackmail attempt, which removes the one other witness to the pool. Rumors of an exit for the character are already circulating, and if Charlotte doesn’t come back, Danny is the last person alive who remembers what they saw.
Could that be the push that finally makes Danny stop being a bystander? He has been stuck mucking stalls as punishment, told by his own father that time apart from Charlotte might be good for him, and left alone with a night he can’t unsee. He already knows how to get close, too, since he waited for Drew to leave for work and slipped in through the back door to see his sister.
Rocco Is The Wild Card Standing In The Middle
Rocco is the one kid with a foot in every camp. Danny punched him, Scout keeps kissing him, and he happens to be the grandson of Sonny Corinthos, the same man Drew and Ava are pinning the Pentonville beating on. That is a lot of loyalty for one teenager to carry.
The spoilers for Wednesday, October 7 have Scout trying to broker peace between Danny and Rocco. Imagine the scene. A girl who overheard Vito’s exit asks why anyone is fighting over Charlotte, and a boy who found a body answers honestly. The pieces click, and Scout Cain is suddenly standing in the middle of her father’s worst nightmare.

Will Scout Cain tell someone what she heard before Drew finds out she was listening? Could Danny’s guilt over the pool finally outweigh his pride? And what happens to Drew when the two kids he keeps underestimating compare notes?
