GH’s Josslyn Jacks Said Yes, Chief With Her Fingers Crossed And A Grudge The Size Of Port Charles
Josslyn Jacks swore loyalty to the WSB with her fingers crossed, and her rogue General Hospital hunt for Sonny Corinthos has begun.
JOSSLYN JACKS WILL TAKE SONNY DOWN WITHOUT THE BUREAU’S PERMISSION
TL;DR: GH’s Josslyn Jacks swore loyalty to the WSB with her fingers crossed, and the rogue investigation into Sonny Corinthos is already underway.

Joss Said Yes, Chief, And Meant Absolutely Not
Josslyn Jacks has been handed the politest gag order in Port Charles and is treating it like a dare. She marched into the WSB field office convinced that Sonny Corinthos never really left the mob and is cooking up a big move, and she asked to hand off JJE so she could take down her former stepfather full time. Chief Baines shut that down fast: Sonny is a problem for local law enforcement, not the bureau, and he had no interest in feeding her personal vendetta.
Joss answered with the oldest move in the spy handbook: nod, smile, obey on paper. Baines gave her an ultimatum, follow orders or resign, and she pretended to fall in line so convincingly that he rewarded her with homework, an audit of JJE’s Far East activities and a request to flag anything questionable. The man handed a bloodhound a scent and told her to wait on the porch.
Her real project kicked off later that day. Hudson Parker got summoned to the Metro Court Gardens, where Joss ordered a full report on JJE’s Far East dealings and an acquisitions plan to demolish Sonny. That isn’t a stakeout. That’s the corporate version of a wrecking ball.

The Audit Is The Perfect Alibi
Baines handed Joss her cover story and has no idea. Every number she pulls for the bureau can double as ammunitionagainst Sonny, and if anyone asks, she’s simply doing her job. That’s the genius of obeying on paper: the WSB gets a model agent, and Josslyn Jacks gets a paper trail.
Add the acquisitions plan and the strategy looks less like surveillance and more like a hostile takeover. Sonny is already busy trying to win Piers 55 and 56 at auction, which gives a plan to demolish him a very convenient place to land. The real question is whether she can poke around his finances without the bureau noticing her sudden enthusiasm for the Far East.
Sonny Might Be Innocent This Time, Which Is Delicious
Here’s the part Joss doesn’t know: the Pentonville beating that has everyone grabbing pitchforks wasn’t Sonny’s doing. Drew Cain and Ava Jerome set it up themselves, paid one of Sonny’s associates to do the dirty work, and were thrilled when the blame landed squarely on Sonny. Curtis Ashford getting dragged into the fight wasn’t part of the plan, and neither of them loves that, but the frame worked.
So Josslyn Jacks may be aiming her wrecking ball at the wrong crime while the actual culprits walk away clean. She isn’t wrong that Sonny is dangerous, and she isn’t wrong that he’s perfectly capable of convincing people he’s decent. She’s missing the plot twist. And Ava has already vowed to do whatever it takes to take Sonny down for good, so if Joss ever learns who set the table, the rogue investigation could suddenly have a second target.

Joss Won’t Be Short On Cheerleaders
Trina Robinson has already promised to have the champagne ready, and her father is the one who got hurt. Justine Turner has ended things with Sonny and vowed that the DA’s office will find the truth and put him away. Plenty of people want Sonny brought down, but Joss has something none of them have: the bureau’s resources and a grudge with no expiration date.
Which twist do you think blows this wide open first? Drop it in the comments below, we’re dying to talk about this!
Let The Rogue Investigation Begin, Port Charles Needed A New Hobby
How long can Joss keep a straight face in front of Baines before the bureau notices its model agent is moonlighting as Sonny’s worst nightmare? Not long, especially if that audit starts turning up things she isn’t supposed to be chasing. The moment Baines connects the dots, Josslyn Jacks will have to choose between her badge and her grudge, and judging by her vow that nobody will stop her, the grudge has a head start.
