Move Over, Britt! GH’s Jason Morgan Rescued Serena Baldwin, And We All Know How His Rescues End
Jason Morgan rescued Serena Baldwin from a roof on General Hospital, and history says he falls for every woman he saves, so move over Britt.
JASON MORGAN CANNOT RESIST A WOMAN HANGING FROM A ROOF
TL;DR: GH’s Jason Morgan has a long history of falling for every woman he saves, and with Britt out of the picture and Serena dangling from a roof, history has fresh material to work with.

Jason’s Heart Has A Rescue Policy
Jason Morgan cannot pull a woman out of danger without catching feelings on the way down, and the record is long. He pulled Elizabeth Baldwin out of a kidnapping and kept turning up whenever she landed in worse trouble. He caught Carly Spencer‘s hand as she clawed her way out of a ravine where a killer had dumped her. He warmed Britt Westbourne up after a sinking boat and a brush with hypothermia, and Sam McCall sits on the same list. Every one of those rescues ended in a love story.
Serena Baldwin is auditioning for the next slot, and she is committed to the bit. She pretended to leave the Quartermaine mansion, sneaked upstairs instead, and ended up dangling upside down from the roof while trying to save a falcon nest that Tracy Quartermaine wants gone. Jason came running at the first scream, got her down, and agreed to help her relocate the nest to the nature preserve next door.
Here’s the best part: Serena spent one episode blasting Jason for threatening her father’s life. In the next, she was asking him to examine her hair for ticks. That is the fastest enemies-to-something arc Port Charles has ever produced.

Serena Knows Exactly What She’s Doing
Nobody asks a man to inspect her hair for ticks by accident. It’s a masterpiece of the form: medical, wholesome, up close, and impossible for a man who swoops in for a living to politely decline. Serena didn’t have to say she was interested. She simply handed him a reason to stand very near her head.
Now the two of them are headed off to move a nest together, in a nature preserve that also happens to be the resting place of a certain body. Nothing builds chemistry like a shared project and a shallow grave. If Jason Morgan was planning a quiet few weeks of brooding after the Britt breakup, Serena has other ideas.
Tracy Is Accidentally The Best Matchmaker In Port Charles
Tracy ordered the nest removed, which means she may have set this entire romance in motion. Without her extermination plan, Serena never climbs the roof, Jason never races outside, and nobody ever discusses ticks. Her grudge against a family of falcons has done more for this couple than any scheme could. Even better, Serena called the birds endangered and looked horrified at the thought of Tracy tearing out the nest, which tells us she’s willing to pick a fight with a Quartermaine for a cause she believes in. Jason has never been able to resist a woman who does exactly that.

Move Over, Britt, Or Maybe Don’t
Britt has told anyone who will listen that she’s done with love. She told Lucas Jones she’s open to hookups and nothing else, and she told Willow Tait she once thought Jason was the one before deciding they were incompatible. That is not a closed door, and Willow said as much when she urged Britt not to shut it for good.
Jason loved Britt, but he couldn’t believe her story about trying to rescue Anna Devane, and he wasn’t willing to stay with someone he doubted. Serena’s only baggage with him is a recent shouting match, a bad habit of hanging off rooftops and a flair for the dramatic. If Jason Morgan is going to fall again, Britt may find herself watching from the sidelines while somebody else gets the first look.
Who do you think wins Jason’s heart? Drop your pick in the comments below, we’re dying to talk about this!

Grab The Tweezers, This Rescue Is Getting Personal
Oh la la, this could be fun. Jason Morgan needs one rescue and one quiet moment to start catching feelings, and Serena has already supplied both. Whether she’s the next great love or the next complication, the tick check was the opening shot, and nobody in Port Charles should be surprised when he comes back for more.

Not sure of a above Jason/Serena pairing at this point in time. One – too close to the Britt fatality and Two – don’t feel Jason will get excited by Serena’s behavior. Think Jason should go solo for awhile and put his full time and attention on Danny which is the reason he removed himself from the mob, but hasn’t been shown much if at all with Danny for a 24 hour period even if not consecutive. I think writers need to tighten up on Jason/Danny’s screen time as their togetherness is not being shown enough. Just my thoughts.
