Dear Powers That Be, Coco Spectra must stay in Genoa City, and we are asking nicely before we start asking loudly. Fans have fallen hard for the young lady since she walked into Sally Spectra and Billy Abbott’s wedding week, and Ashley Campbell has made the recast feel like a homecoming. When Jack Abbott welcomed the carnies to the family with respect and love, Coco cried, we cried, and the tissue budget took a beating.

A woman who hands her sister great-aunt Sally’s big earrings and a feather necklace is not a one-episode guest. She is a legacy with a suitcase.

Sisters Who Could Run the Place

Put her to work beside Sally. Audra Charles already shares the Spectra-Charles throne, and Coco Spectra has the résumé for a seat nearby, plus a family name that already means something to the building. She studied design, interned at Forrester Creations, and told Sally she has been around rich people before. She was also the first one to rush Sally to the hospital during the Braxton-Hicks scare, calling herself Sally’s greatest fan and biggest cheerleader. A cheerleader with a sketchbook is a dangerous thing, and Sally could use a second pair of hands now that a baby is on the way.

Which Hot Man Gets the Honor?

Genoa City is overflowing with handsome prospects, and the wedding guest list is a buffet. Adam Newman is already confirmed as Chelsea Lawson’s plus-one, so a champagne toast with a stranger in a good suit is practically on the schedule. We will not name the lucky fellow, because the writers should sweat for it, but we want a slow burn with a few sparks and at least one dramatic misunderstanding.

Secrets Worth Unwrapping

Every good soap sister arrives with baggage, and Coco’s is vintage. Back in 2017 she dated R.J. Forrester, wore jewelry rigged with cameras that let Spectra copy Forrester designs, and confessed all of it before losing her internship. She also drove while texting and crashed a Camaro with R.J. inside, a secret she kept until Brooke Logan pushed her to come clean. Courtney Grosbeck originated the role from 2017 to 2018, so the history is real.

Then add the mysteries brewing now. At the Abbott dinner, the Spectra sisters stayed awfully vague about carny life. Coco also asked Sally if Phyllis Summers was the “ice bucket wish,” and Sally refused to explain, so someone in Genoa City is hiding a wish. Dazzle that mystery with a Forrester ex and a small-town secret, and Coco Spectra stays busy for years.
