Aches radiated across his chest, neck and shoulder on the left as he rode home from the airport with Allison Kelly, his wife, on the evening of October 3. She offered to take him to a hospital, but he preferred to lie down at home.
Soon after, Allison found him unresponsive. She dialed 911 and started CPR while paramedics rushed to the house. Sadly, he was declared dead at the scene at 9:09 that night.

What Police Concluded
Officers saw nothing suspicious about the death of Robert Kelker-Kelly and described it as a medical event. The medical examiner for St. Charles County, once reached, saw no reason to open an inquiry of its own, and the matter was filed under sudden death.
Robert Kelker-Kelly took over Bo from Peter Reckell in 1992 and held the part until Reckell came back three years later. General Hospital and Another World also counted him among their casts before he built a new life in aviation. He leaves behind Allison and Amelia Rose Kelly, his daughter.
