The Man Who Became Bo Brady
Robert Kelker-Kelly has passed away at 62, and Salem is saying goodbye to the actor who brought Bo Brady to life in Days of Our Lives storylines. Per TMZ, Missouri’s medical examiner places his passing on October 3.
Robert Kelker-Kelly stepped into the role in 1992, taking over from Peter Reckell, and kept it until Reckell returned in 1995. Those years brought the pairing of Bo with Hope Brady, played by Kristian Alfonso, along with Billie Reed, played by Lisa Rinna.
Bo remains part of Salem today, with Reckell back in the role.

A Career That Reached Beyond Salem
According to Soap Opera News, the soap journey of Robert Kelker-Kelly began in 1987 on Another World, where he originated Sam Fowler and played him until 1990. A later stint ran 1996 through 1998, with him playing Dr. Shane Roberts.
On General Hospital, he played Stavros Cassadine, first in 2001 and again in 2013 and 2014. The same report notes that he made his living as a pilot, spending roughly a dozen years in the cockpit starting in 2003.
