BTG Comings and Goings: Kandi Burruss Is Coming to Fairmont Crest, So Everybody Better Behave
Kandi Burruss brings the star power to BTG as Kalista Kilroy, and Fairmont Crest has no idea what is about to walk through its gates.
KANDI BURRUSS IS HEADING TO FAIRMONT CREST AS KALISTA KILROY
TL;DR: Kandi Burruss, the Grammy-winning hitmaker and longtime Atlanta Housewives star, joins Beyond the Gates as Kalista Kilroy during the broadcast week that starts October 19, as first reported by Soap Opera Digest. Fairmont Crest, consider yourself warned.
A Guest Star Walks Into Fairmont Crest
Guest star alert! Kandi Burruss is headed for Beyond the Gates as Kalista Kilroy, and the Housewives royalty arrives in the broadcast week that starts October 19. No details have surfaced about who Kalista is, who she knows or what she wants, which on BTG is exactly how the best trouble begins.
With Smitty’s arrest video making the rounds, Hayley pocketing her settlement and The Impaler still at large, nobody in this town is strolling toward a quiet week. A famous face dropping in is basically gasoline with a publicist, and this town already has plenty of matches lying around.

Another Housewife Joins the Roll Call
Kandi Burruss makes it four Housewives franchise stars to wander through the show. Karen Huger cut the ribbon in the series debut, February 24, 2025, then Wendy Osefo and Gizelle Bryant, her Potomac castmates, showed up for cameos that December.
Kandi’s résumé plays like a soap pitch all by itself. She came up in Xscape, co-wrote “No Scrubs” and “Bills, Bills, Bills,” and earned a Tony nomination as a Broadway producer. Overachieving is clearly her whole personality.
Who Gets Rattled First?
Kandi Burruss walking through those gates is an event all on its own, and we are already taking bets on whose week she flips upside down first, so get yours in.
