Beyond the Gates Comings & Goings

Fairmont Crest’s guest list swelled last week, and most of the newcomers arrived in the middle of somebody’s worst day. Jennifer Van Horn debuted as Jenny Smith on October 21, landing on the doorstep of Mike Manning’s Smitty right as his legal mess took over the neighborhood. She brought compliments instead of casseroles, and the group hug that broke out when Brandon Claybon’s Martin Richardson walked in could have powered the whole street.

Dani’s Interview Becomes a Reunion

Thursday’s big sit-down was a revolving door with a camera crew. Tabitha Brown debuted as Tia Allen and interviewed Karla Mosley’s Dani Dupree about her career, while Cady McClain returned as Pamela Curtis and Milly Figuereo came back as Tatum Stewart, the designer who last turned up in February. Kandi Burruss debuted as Kalista Kilroy, Dani’s former agent, and she showed up with a past nobody asked her to bring.

Then Tamara Tunie, who already plays Anita Dupree, played double duty and brought Jackie Tyree to the screen, the Anita impersonator last seen officiating Dani’s spur-of-the-moment Las Vegas wedding.

Elsewhere, Jordi Vilasuso was back as Grayson Perez on October 19, and Ellie Wang returned as Caroline Lee on October 20.

Next week, Maria Howell is back as Tracy Tyler and Bonita Brisker returns as Sharon Winger on Wednesday, October 28, when Anita has big news to share.

Bold and the Beautiful Comings & Goings

Los Angeles got two returns with a side of side-eye last week. Naomi Matsuda was back as Li Finnegan on October 20 and spent the week glaring on her son’s behalf, while Jennifer Gareis returned as Donna Logan on October 22, right in time for a Logan sister war that could use a referee.

Pam Douglas Is Coming Home

The studio had famous visitors, too. Susan Flannery, the original Stephanie Forrester, and Ian Buchanan, the longtime James Warwick, stopped by the set on October 20 for a visit.

Alley Mills was part of that reunion and is now confirmed to return as Pam Douglas, last seen in 2024, with no air date and no word on who gets offered the first lemon bar. She also returns to General Hospital as Heather Webber on Thursday, November 5, which makes her the busiest woman in daytime.

Next week, Kelly Sullivan is back as Darcy Dylan, the mother of Sydney Bullock’s Melissa Dylan. She debuted on September 2 and gets a poolside invitation for Darin Brooks’s Wyatt Spencer, who meets her for the first time on Wednesday, October 28.

Days of Our Lives Comings & Goings

Dominic Marino Gets a Face

Kyle Pryor makes his full debut as Dominic Marino on Monday, November 2, so the billionaire who bought a mansion, bailed on it, and sent only a photo is finally showing up in person. That photo appeared on October 20, when Franco LoPresti’s Dante Vitali pulled up his old school buddy on his phone, and Days of Our Lives follows it with a 61st anniversary in early November that brings back Thaao Penghlis as Tony DiMera and Leann Hunley as Anna DiMera.

A Laptop and a Reunion

Salem’s front door barely stopped swinging last week. Michael Rose appears in the role of George O’Halloran from October 19, fired and then hunted for a laptop, and Stephen Nichols returned as Steve Johnson the same day to do the hunting. On October 20, Shi Ne Nielson was back as Amy Choi for a tearful graveside reunion with Rachel Boyd’s Sophia Choi.

Also back that day were Judi Evans as Bonnie Lockhart, with sharp advice for a houseguest who reminded her of herself, Franco LoPresti as Dante Vitali, and Sydney Malakeh as Sydney DiMera. On October 22, Raven Bowensreturned as Chanel Dupree for surgery day, and Jackee Harry’s Paulina Price turned up in person after a stretch of phone calls.

Next week, Miles Anderson is back as Foster and Cole Gersmeyer returns as Thomas DiMera, both on Friday, October 30. Foster has only been mentioned lately, so his arrival comes with a breakup for Susan Seaforth Hayes’s Julie Williams.

A Stranger and a Bartender

Wil Traval debuted as Jude on October 16 as the mystery man who bought Kelly Thiebaud’s Britt Westbourne a drink, and he has since proved that a no-names night, an extended hotel stay, and a pistol in a nightstand can all share one suite. Beau Bowden has confirmed he is the Brown Dog’s new bartender, billed only as bartender with no character name and no word on how long he stays, and he worked the very night Jude arrived.

Rumors in Port Charles

Kristen Vaganos’s Molly Lansing-Davis and Josh Kelly’s Cody Bell were back on October 21 with a Chicago job offer on the table, which has fans asking whether either of them is leaving. Nothing has been confirmed for either actor, and Thanksgiving is already on the calendar. Fans are also whispering about Spencer Cassadine as the mystery behind Trina’s flowers, but that is rumor only and no casting has been announced. Next week we hear news about Bluesy Burke’s Charlotte Cassadine, who stays offscreen.

Elsewhere, Finola Hughes was back as Anna Devane on October 19, Nancy Lee Grahn returned as Alexis Davis and Nazneen Contractor as Justine Turner on October 20, and Vernee Watson turned up as Stella Henry on October 21 to give Britt a performance review nobody saw coming.

Next week, Kayden Brenna Tokarski is back as Scout Cain and Finn Carr returns as Rocco Falconeri on Monday, October 26, right as their secret is put at risk. Asher Antonyzyn returns as Danny Morgan on Tuesday, October 27, and again on Friday, October 30. Alley Mills is also back as Heather Webber on Thursday, November 5.

A Wedding With Guests

Genoa City threw a wedding, and the guest list came with surprises. Patrika Darbo debuted as Shirley Spectra on October 19 to walk her granddaughter, Courtney Hope’s Sally Spectra, down the aisle to Jason Thompson’s Billy Abbott. Michael Nanfria officiated as the minister, and Paxton Mishkind and Sienna Mercuri were back as Johnny Abbott and Katie Abbott, home for the wedding after nearly a year away. Camryn Grimes returned as Mariah Copelandon October 20.

Voices on the Phone

The phone lines were the real stars of the reception. Snapper, previously played by David Hasselhoff, called in with news about Jess Walton’s Jill Abbott, and neither has been seen on screen, since Snapper’s voice never came through and Jill stays offstage. An update about Roger Howarth’s Matt Clark arrives on Wednesday, October 28.

Next week, Bryton James returns as Devon Winters on Monday, October 26, Hayley Erin is back as Claire Newman on Wednesday, October 28, and Vivica A. Fox returns as Dr. Stephanie Simmons on Friday, October 30, when her romance with Sean Dominic’s Nate Hastings goes public.
