JOSSLYN POPS BUBBLY IN GENERAL HOSPITAL RECAP

TL;DR: This General Hospital Recap catches Josslyn Jacks laughing in Sonny Corinthos’s face over the piers, plus Lulu Spencer refusing to retract her article, Drew Cain and Ava Jerome plotting over cocktails, and Trina Robinson receiving flowers from a mystery fan.

Josslyn Laughs in Sonny’s Face

Josslyn Jacks walked out of court holding a signature, a smirk, and a brand-new waterfront empire, and she made no effort to hide any of the three. Carly Spencer and Valentin Cassadine peeled away while she wished Hudson Parkermany happy returns on their shiny new real estate. The pair had nearly reached the doors when Sonny Corinthos and Ric Lansing cut them off to offer congratulations with all the warmth of a parking ticket.

Josslyn sweetly told them she was sorry for their loss. Sonny skipped the manners and demanded she hand the piers over, a bold opening for a man fresh off losing an auction. Hudson gently reminded him how auctions work: the winner keeps the prize. Ric floated matching her number, and Sonny, in his finest mobster voice, declared it was only business. When Hudson refused to budge, he began to bellow. For decades, he thundered, those docks had propped up the underworld, and he could manage the sort of people who came with them while she could not. Josslyn laughed right in his face, which is the kind of answer people remember.

Back in Hudson’s room, the partners relived their triumph. Josslyn gloated with the confidence of a woman who had skimmed the final chapter, rang down for champagne, and promptly shook the bottle until it erupted all over the place, Hudson included. It happened to be her father’s favorite vintage. They sipped it anyway, grinned like co-conspirators, and clinked glasses to one another.

Sonny Takes Stock of His Enemies

Over at Sonny’s place, he and Ric picked through the wreckage. Sonny suspected Josslyn had more in store for him. Ric considered it even worse that she had planted her flag in her father’s business, since Sonny’s own holdings sat offshore and any move to shuffle them around would invite scrutiny. The girl, in other words, could do real damage, and Sonny had to decide how much shoving he would tolerate.

He adored her, he said, and still thought she was misguided. He refused to be taken down by her, yet he would not come at her head-on either. The smarter play was to unmask the mystery man in her corner and learn exactly who Hudson was.

Carly Calls In Anna

Meanwhile, Carly’s office turned into a war room. She and Valentin dissected the courtroom fireworks, and Carly trusted that Sonny would never harm Josslyn, though she could not say the same for the other players eyeing the piers. Her conviction grew that Anna Devane could help, and she confessed she had already approached Anna about coaching Josslyn.

Valentin doubted Anna was up to it at the moment, which Carly conceded. She described how stubbornly Anna had been shutting the world out, yet she hoped Valentin could coax her back, adding that he might benefit from the effort too. Valentin asked whether he got a vote. Carly said yes, so he agreed to reach out without pushing. Carly’s real worry was Josslyn being pulled into a turf war.

Lulu Refuses to Retract

At home, Lulu Spencer told Dante Falconeri that Jenz Sidwell had confessed to her, on tape, that Willow Tait had dosed Drew Cain into paralysis. She offered to play the recording. Dante countered that Sidwell had denied everything and blamed heavy medication. Lulu could not fathom why he would backpedal. Both wished Laura would hurry home from Ireland, and Lulu insisted her independent digging backed up Sidwell’s claims.

Elizabeth Baldwin arrived next, having read the piece and found it more than a little provocative. She wondered why Lulu had been less than honest when she sat down with her. Lulu pointed to the parallel between Jack Brennan’s condition and Drew’s, and when Elizabeth asked how she got into Sidwell’s room, Lulu fibbed that she had simply strolled in, a claim that earned a weary sigh from Dante. Lulu then pressed Elizabeth on why Willow’s alleged crimes had not set her off, and what else the woman might be hiding.

Dante advised pulling the article. Lulu dug in, noting that every quote from Elizabeth was accurate, and promised a follow-up.

Drew Slinks Up to Ava

Ava Jerome was well into a martini when Drew materialized at her table, and she nearly dropped the glass at his nerve in showing his face in public. He had come to announce his strategy for Lulu: he would insist Willow never drugged him at all. The story, he said, was a pile of falsehoods, and taking Lulu down would hand the Qs a present while any whiff of a Jack Brennan connection evaporated.

He also reported that Sonny had not won the piers either; Josslyn had. Ava found the irony delicious and mused that the girl might dispatch Sonny on behalf of both of them. Then the music started, and the two bopped along like conspirators on a night out.

A Fan Sends Trina Flowers

Trina Robinson and Gio Palmieri warmed up their set at the Cat’s Eye Lounge when Kai Taylor and Emma Scorpio-Drake crashed in with embraces while Ava turned up as a one-woman cheering section. Unfortunately, somebody else was also watching, from beyond the glass. Ava swapped coos with Trina over little Desmond and plans to shift Curtis Ashford over to SpringRidge, while Kai learned that Emma and Gio had found a place to share.

Quinn showed up for Gio, insisting no force could have kept him away, and his eyes drifted to Trina, who was busy confiding in Emma that she and Kai were not ready for that kind of leap. She recalled how close she and Spencer once came. Gio learned his grandmother would miss the show, then fetched Trina so they could begin. Once they left, Quinn wondered aloud if Kai minded how tight Gio and Trina were, and Kai shrugged it off.

Trina sounded lovely, and the whole crowd was won over. Afterward, a bouquet arrived, signed by her self-declared top admirer. Kai swore the gesture was not his, and Quinn wore a smile that raised more questions than it answered.

Piers, Lies, and a Mystery Bouquet

General Hospital served up a victory lap with a side of dread. Josslyn and Hudson toasted their win while Sonny and Ric plotted around it, Carly nudged Valentin toward Anna, Lulu stood her ground against Dante and Elizabeth, and Drew and Ava raised a glass to their own scheming. Meanwhile, Trina and Gio wowed a room, Kai and Emma talked moving boxes, and Quinn smirked at the whole thing.
