General Hospital Spoilers Next 2 Weeks: Josslyn Goes Rogue, Sonny’s Loyalists Get Tested, and Lulu’s Byline Lights a Fuse

PORT CHARLES IS RUNNING OUT OF PEOPLE WHO TRUST SONNY

Justine walks away from Sonny, Josslyn turns her WSB assignment into a weapon against him, and Lulu’s newest article is about to stir up a storm. Here’s everything that happened Monday and everything brewing in General Hospital over the next two weeks.

General Hospital Spoilers: This Week (October 5-9)

Monday, October 5 (aired)
General Hospital opened the week with Justine Turner ending her relationship with Sonny Corinthos. She vowed to find whoever was behind the attacks on Sidwell and Curtis “if it is the last thing that I do,” and Sonny swore he only told Vito to have Sully protect Sidwell because he had promised her he wouldn’t kill the man. Justine didn’t buy it, told him he had done a masterful job of seducing her, and walked out while he shouted after her that he was set up. Meanwhile, Josslyn Jacks asked Agent Baines to let her go after Sonny instead of working at JJE. He told her to do the assignment or resign, so she took her new orders to audit JJE’s Far East activities, then told Hudson Parker she needs the full schematics of those holdings and wants a capital and acquisitions plan “to demolish Sonny Corinthos.”

At lunch with Britt Westbourne, Willow Tait spotted Chase meeting his lawyer, Monet, at another table. Chase told Monet that Brook Lynn’s idea of moving out together felt like a ploy and that he is ready for a legal separation, so Monet started the paperwork and told him to find a place with a room for Phoebe. Britt pushed Willow to go say hello, and Chase told her she doesn’t have to keep her distance anymore, just as Josslyn walked in and saw them together. Brook Lynn Quartermaine admitted to Hudson at the gym that she is afraid she and Chase are done, then told Tracy Quartermaine that Chase isn’t interested in saving the marriage and that keeping Phoebe is her focus now.

Over at the Quartermaine mansion, Serena Baldwin introduced herself to Jason Morgan by stomping on his foot and blaming him for her father, Scott, having to leave Port Charles in the middle of the night. She sat down with Tracy, asked her to move the peregrine falcons’ nest instead of destroying it, faked her exit and slipped upstairs. Gio Palmieri told Trina Robinson Sonny couldn’t convince him he was innocent, but that he asked his grandfather to make sure nothing else happens to Curtis, and that he needs somewhere else to live. He is still playing his gig even though Trina offered to call Simon and cancel it, and her stalker has a flier for that gig pinned to a bulletin board. The episode ended with Jason, calling around to find Vito, hearing a scream outside and finding Serena hanging upside down.

Tuesday, October 6
Felicia Scorpio brings Anna Devane good news, Brook Lynn opens up to Valentin Cassadine, and Hudson tries to talk Josslyn down a day after she asked him for a plan to demolish Sonny. Lulu Spencer makes a bold move, and Willow and Chase pick up where Monday’s lunch left off and get into the state of his marriage.

Wednesday, October 7
Carly Spencer calls in a favor from Anna, Tracy holds her tongue around Gio, and Drew Cain and Alexis Davis go toe to toe. Scout Cain plays peacemaker between Danny Morgan and Rocco Falconeri, and Lulu chases a lead.

Thursday, October 8
Carly stands behind Sonny, Lulu’s newest article stirs up a storm, and Ava Jerome has a fresh target in mind for Drew. Curtis Ashford gets a jolt, and Chase issues a challenge.

Friday, October 9
Britt extends a lifeline, Anna lends her expertise, and Sonny puts Gio’s mind at ease after Gio admitted Monday that Sonny hadn’t convinced him. Portia Robinson makes it plain where her loyalties lie, and Dante Falconeri‘s investigation runs into a wall.

General Hospital Spoilers: Next Week (October 12-16)

No official day-by-day grid for this week is out yet, so treat everything here as early chatter. The loudest of it ties straight back to Thursday: talk is that Lulu’s article points at Chase and Willow, and that a defamation fight over the story spills into this week. Josslyn already saw the two of them together on Monday, and Chase is out apartment hunting with a room for Phoebe, so a scandal now would land right on top of his custody fight, with Monet in his corner as his lawyer. Chatter also has Monet pushing to get Curtis out of Pentonville on house arrest at Portia’s, which would put Jordan’s estranged sister at the center of two storylines at once.

With Justine gone and Dante’s investigation stalling by Friday, Sonny’s only defense is his word that he was set up. Carly stands with him Thursday and he reassures Gio Friday, so we’d bet his circle shrinks to family while the people who actually framed him keep moving.

Watch for Josslyn’s plans to collide with the people trying to protect her. Baines kept her on JJE, but she has already asked Hudson to turn that job into a plan to demolish Sonny, and his attempt to talk her down Tuesday suggests she is closer to something drastic than anyone wants to admit. Early talk has her aiming at Sonny’s piers next, which would turn a personal vendetta into a business war.

Chase’s marriage is turning into a full-blown tug-of-war over Phoebe. Tracy wants it over, Brook Lynn has stopped fighting for the marriage and started fighting for her daughter, and with Chase issuing a challenge of his own Thursday, someone in that mansion is about to learn that schemes have a way of backfiring.

General Hospital Spoilers: The Big Stories Right Now

Sonny Under Siege
Curtis and Jenz Sidwell were beaten in Pentonville by men tied to Sonny, and the surveillance footage has the police, Dante and Justine all circling him. Sonny insists he only had Vito send Sully to protect Sidwell, and he is hurt that Dante won’t take him at his word. Last week ended with Sonny shouting that he didn’t want a son like Dante, though Gio’s hug suggested not everyone has written him off. On Monday Sonny pleaded his innocence to Justine, and she ended their relationship anyway and promised to put whoever did it away. Viewers know Ava and Drew set him up, which makes this the one time Sonny is telling the truth and nobody believes him.

Josslyn’s Vendetta
Josslyn has long wanted Sonny stopped, and after Curtis’s beating she is convinced he will never quit being ruthless. She told Trina that stopping him is why she joined the WSB, and on Monday she asked Agent Baines to let her go after him directly. When Baines told her to do her JJE assignment or resign, she said yes and kept her grudge, finding a way to make the assignment do the job: an audit of JJE’s Far East holdings and a capital and acquisitions plan from Hudson aimed at demolishing Sonny. Hudson steps in to talk her down Tuesday, which suggests whatever she has planned is risky enough to scare him. The question is whether Josslyn can pull off a takedown without losing herself in the process.

Chase, Brook Lynn and a Mansion Full of Schemers
Chase is now pursuing a legal separation, and on Monday Monet started the paperwork and told him to find a place with a room for Phoebe. Brook Lynn told Tracy that Chase isn’t interested in saving their marriage and that keeping Phoebe is her focus now. Tracy has urged Chase to file for divorce and is quietly plotting to push him and Willow into an affair, with Michael Corinthos volunteering to help, though even Yuri drew a line Monday and refused to spy on Brook Lynn. Chase told Willow she doesn’t have to keep her distance anymore, their talk about his marriage continues Tuesday, and by Thursday he issues a challenge of his own. Brook Lynn opens up to Valentin on Tuesday, a sign she is hunting for allies outside her own family.

Serena’s Quartermaine Mystery
Serena arrived at the Quartermaine mansion Monday with a grudge against Jason over Scott’s hasty exit from town and a meeting with Tracy and Brook Lynn that had Tracy bristling at the words “pop up store.” She left storyboards behind for Brook Lynn, but she also pretended to leave and crept upstairs instead, and the show hasn’t said what she was after. By the end of the hour Jason found her hanging upside down outside the house. How she got there, and whether it connects to what she was doing upstairs, is the first thing Tuesday has to answer.

Scout’s Secret and the Teen Wars
Scout overheard Ava and Drew pressing Sonny’s associate to get out of Port Charles, which means she is sitting on a secret that could blow up two families. Her friendship with Danny is in shambles after his fight with Rocco, but Wednesday finds her working to make peace between them. Alexis and Drew clash the same day, and by Thursday Ava is dangling a fresh target in front of Drew. Even a dangerous game of whispers has a way of finding a teenager at the wrong time. Whatever Scout decides to do with what she knows, someone is about to pay.

Trina’s Stalker Has Gio’s Gig Circled
Trina offered Monday to call Simon and cancel Gio’s gig, but Gio is still in, and the final moments showed her stalker with a flier for that gig pinned to their bulletin board. Trina has no shortage of suspects, and Heather Webber is due back in November. Until the stalker is unmasked, any public night out with Trina’s name attached is a risk.

Did Justine break up with Sonny?
Yes. On the October 5 episode Justine refused to believe Sonny’s denial about Pentonville and ended their relationship, while Sonny insisted he was set up.

Did Sonny order the attack at Pentonville?
Sonny says no, and viewers know Ava and Drew arranged it to frame him. Even so, the footage on screen still points straight at his men.

Will Scout tell Drew what she overheard?
The show hasn’t said. She has kept Charlotte Cassadine‘s blackmail scheme from her father, but Scout has learned the hard way that secrets get heavy.

Can Chase and Brook Lynn survive this?
It doesn’t look good. Monet has started Chase’s legal separation paperwork, and Brook Lynn now says Chase isn’t interested in saving the marriage, so her fight is over Phoebe. Neither has filed for divorce, and a newcomer named Jude arrives this month with his identity still under wraps.
