General Hospital Spoilers September 1: Ric Lansing Unravels as a Body Surfaces at Metro Court
General Hospital spoilers September 1 send Ric Lansing to Lulu Spencer in a panic as Charlotte Cassadine surfaces a body at Metro Court.

RIC LANSING BEGS LULU SPENCER FOR HELP AS PORT CHARLES CRACKS OPEN
TL;DR: Ric corners Lulu with a disaster to avert on the September 1 episode of General Hospital. A body surfaces in the Metro Court pool, Ava Jerome turns on Drew Cain, and Carly Spencer calls in Jason Morgan.
Ric Lansing Turns To Lulu Spencer With A Disaster To Avert
General Hospital spoilers September 1 hand the first panic of the day to Ric Lansing, who corners Lulu Spencer and tells her flat out that she has to help him avert a disaster. Rick Hearst plays it like a man watching his own future slide off a table. Alexa Havins gives him nothing back but a look. She has heard this pitch before. She said no the first time.
The disaster has a name, and it is Elizabeth Webber. Ric turned up at her house on August 19 with roses and a ring in his pocket, looked through the window, and saw Dante Falconeri sitting on her couch with his pants off. Rebecca Herbst was strapping up a wrecked knee. Dominic Zamprogna was wincing through it. Ric saw an affair, and the ring never left his pocket.
He confronted the pair the next day and Elizabeth handed it straight back to him for trying to rule on who sits on her sofa. Then he took the same pitch to Lulu at the Metro Court pool and asked her to team up and keep those two apart. She told him it would only push Elizabeth further away. That was August 20, one day after he went ring shopping for a proposal he never got to make.
Do you think Ric has already blown this, or is there a save left in him? Write to the editor at [email protected] and make the case.
A Body Surfaces In The Metro Court Pool
The pool is shut for the season, which did not stop Charlotte Cassadine and Danny Morgan from sneaking in for one last swim. Bluesy Burke went under, hit something solid, and came up screaming. Asher Antonyzyn was in the water beside her a second later. Somebody is floating in that pool, and the camera pointedly never showed the face.
Jack Brennan is the obvious guess and the show knows it. Chris McKenna spent the August 31 episode sweating through a drugged drink, then swaying at the elevator, unable to find the button for his own floor. Nobody has named a victim on screen, though, and a soap that hides a face is protecting a reveal. The wider daytime rundowns have been circling this one all weekend.
What Disaster Is Ric Lansing Trying To Avert On General Hospital?
The disaster is his own proposal, and his plan to save it is to break up a friendship. Here is the part nobody else is joining up. Rocco Falconeri is the reason Lulu and Dante come to an understanding on this exact episode, which means Ric Lansing is taking his scheme back to the one person who already refused him on the same day she is moving closer to Dante, not further away.
Worth saying plainly, because plenty of coverage keeps garbling it. Lulu is Dante’s ex-wife and Rocco’s mother, not his sister. She also shares a daughter, Charlotte, with Valentin Cassadine. Ric went to her precisely because he assumed an ex would want Dante kept on a short leash. He assumed wrong on August 20 and there is no sign he has learned a thing since.
Ava Jerome Turns On Drew Cain As Carly Spencer Calls In Jason Morgan
Upstairs in Brennan’s suite, Ava Jerome has run out of patience with Drew Cain. Maura West makes it plain that there is no version of this where she takes the fall by herself. Cameron Mathison has spent a week telling her Brennan comes first and Sonny comes second, and now the two of them are scrambling for the door.
Two floors down, Carly Spencer finds her cameras dead and her alarms switched off, and calls Jason Morgan in to work out who wanted the hotel blind. Laura Wright and Steve Burton land on the right question fast, which is not who did it but what was worth the trouble. Carly and Valentin already went through Drew’s Aurora office the day before and came out holding his plans. My gut says they close that circle before Tuesday is over.
Over at the Cat’s Eye Lounge, Brook Lynn Quartermaine cues Trina Robinson to the stage while Kai Taylor argues with Simon about selling Trina and Gio Palmieri to the public as a couple. Neither of them wants it and neither of them is being asked. Elsewhere, Isaiah Gannon has a surprise waiting for Portia Robinson.
Somebody in this triangle is about to get hurt and we want to know who you think has it coming. Leave your verdict on this story.
There is plenty more where this came from in our General Hospital coverage.
Ric Is Losing Elizabeth One Panic At A Time
Ric Lansing has convinced himself the threat is Dante. The threat is Ric. He bought a ring, saw a bandage, and turned a nurse doing her job into a conspiracy, and now he is recruiting a second person into it. Elizabeth has already told him once that she will not be managed.
Lulu is the interesting one, though. She shares a son with Dante and every reason to want him settled, which makes her the worst possible ally and the most tempting one. If she says yes this time, she is every bit as culpable as Ric is. Come argue it out with us on our Facebook page.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Is Ric Lansing engaged to Elizabeth Webber on General Hospital?
No. Ric bought a ring and planned to propose on the August 19, 2026 episode, but he never asked. He walked in on Elizabeth treating Dante Falconeri’s injured knee, jumped to the wrong conclusion, and the proposal was shelved. The two are dating, not engaged.
How are Lulu Spencer and Dante Falconeri connected on General Hospital?
They are exes who share a son, Rocco Falconeri. Lulu also has a daughter, Charlotte Cassadine, with Valentin Cassadine. That history is exactly why Ric assumed Lulu would help him keep Dante away from Elizabeth, and exactly why she refused him on August 20.
Whose body did Charlotte Cassadine and Danny Morgan find in the Metro Court pool?
The show has not identified the victim. The camera stayed off the face when the discovery aired on August 31, 2026. Jack Brennan had been drugged and was last seen unsteady at the elevator, which makes him the obvious guess, but nothing has been confirmed on screen.
