ZENDE FORRESTER DOMINGUEZ AND DYLAN HAVE NOBODY BUT EACH OTHER

TL;DR: B&B’s Zende Forrester Dominguez and Dylan walked out of Forrester Creations together with no jobs and a lot of feelings, and a drink or two to drown their sorrows could end in a bedroom visit.

Two Exits, One Slammed Door

Zende Forrester Dominguez did not walk out because he was angry at Dylan. He walked out because she handed him the excuse he had been waiting for. Ridge Forrester fired Dylan for nudging Zende toward Logan, and Zende Forrester Dominguez answered by reminding Eric Forrester that he’d been promised the final say, insisting she did nothing wrong, and announcing that if Dylan goes, he goes. Then he took Logan’s offer and strutted out beside her while Electra Forrester waved a finger at the door like a bouncer.

Back in the design office he told Dylan this wasn’t about her at all. The favoritism and nepotism had been piling up, and Ridge refusing to listen was the last straw. He hugged Eric, said “I love you,” and left a family business behind with a woman who now owes him everything.

Sorrows Need Somewhere To Go

Nobody walks out of a career and heads home to eat cereal alone, especially not two people who spent the whole afternoon being yelled at by the same family. Zende has spent weeks collecting heartbreak, from the Hope Loganbetrayal to a design office where RJ Forrester gets handed a line and he gets handed notes. Dylan lost her job and her friendship with Electra in the same stretch, and the only person who stood up for her was Zende.

Two people with that much baggage need somewhere to set it down, preferably somewhere with a locking door and a bartender who minds his business, and the usual place is a bar with dim lighting and a generous pour. One drink becomes two, the tab turns wild, and suddenly they are laughing about the look on Ridge’s face. Pals who quit together do not stay sober together.

Consolation Has A Way Of Getting Personal

Here is where it gets delicious. Comfort is always closer than it looks, and a shoulder to cry on has never once stayed professional after the second round. A hug lingers a beat too long. A hand lands somewhere it shouldn’t. Zende Forrester Dominguez has a reputation for loyalty, and Dylan has now seen exactly how far it goes.

The twist that makes it wildly interesting is that Dylan says she is head over heels for Will Spencer. Zende already knows it, since he told her back in the design office that he could see how much she cares about Will. If Zende Forrester Dominguez ends up consoling her between the sheets, he does it knowing exactly whose name she says when she is happy.

Logan Will Not See This Coming

Hope wishes Zende could see what Logan is building, and Katie Logan has spent days convinced he is not coming. Zende arrives with a new job, a rescued friend, and a night that may have gone very differently than anyone planned. Katie gets her star designer, and Hope gets her partner back, and neither of them has any idea what he did the night before.

Last Call For Common Sense

Pink slips make strange bedfellows, and two exhausted friends with a bar tab and a bedroom visit waiting at the end of it make the strangest of all.
