The Tough Girl Has a Soft Side

Audra Charles didn’t win anyone over by being nice. She won them over by showing up. When Sally Spectra clutched her belly at her own bachelorette party, Audra was the one who got her to the hospital. No speeches, no drama, no hesitation.

It turned out to be a false alarm, and the baby is fine. What stuck with everyone was who got her there. Billy was still on his way. Audra was the one keeping her cool while everyone else panicked.

That same night, Audra gave Sally her “something borrowed,” a rosary that belonged to her late grandmother. That’s not a gift from a woman who only cares about herself. That’s a gift from a woman who loves her friend and wants her to feel her family’s blessing on the big day.

Coco Spectra sat in that waiting room with Audra and got honest. She admitted she and Sally don’t talk every day, and said “Audra’s the one who’s there every day.” Then she called Audra Sally’s “sister of the heart.”

When the doctor came out, the two of them told him they were both Sally’s sisters so they could get answers. Coco didn’t hesitate to bring Audra into the family. Sally’s real sister handed that title over without a second thought. Has anyone ever handed Audra that kind of welcome before?

Traci Noticed, Too

Traci Abbott doesn’t hand out compliments she doesn’t mean. She thanked Audra for her dedication to her future sister-in-law, and coming from the sweetest Abbott, that’s a gold star.

Even Chelsea Caved

Here’s the real shocker. Chelsea Lawson and Audra have spent weeks circling each other like cats. Audra has made it clear she hasn’t forgiven Chelsea for what she did to Sally, and Chelsea has given it right back.

Then the bachelorette happened. The two of them bickered over the cake (“Cake is food!”), made up, and Sally named them the MVPs of the night.

Afterward, Chelsea thanked Audra for taking care of Sally, and Audra apologized for snapping and shook her hand. Chelsea finally admitted what the rest of town is figuring out: Audra is a good person underneath that tough exterior.

Audra Was There From the Start

This isn’t new, either. Audra has been there since the very beginning of this baby. When Sally needed a pregnancy test, Audra was the one she trusted to bring it.

Audra Charles was in on it from the start, and she’s been by Sally’s side ever since.
