If the residents living inside the infamous Abbott Estate don’t start making any sense on Young & the Restless, all that will be left is that old & aged couch in the living room resulting in soap opera fan ratings that continue to decline. It’s time to sort this all out & attempt to make sense of what goes on inside that household.

Mrs. Martinez Does the Most Work Without Being Paid

Despite never being seen by Young & the Restless fans, it’s clear that Mrs. Martinez is the glue that holds whatever combination of the Abbott family is living inside the Abbott Estate at any given time. In real life on Young & the Restless at CBS, Mrs Martinez is the BEST value. She’s never seen, ergo, she never needs to be dressed. She’s not played by a human, so there’s an open spot on the CBS payroll.

It seems that in Kyle Abbott’s (Michael Mealor) mind, Mrs. Martinez is exactly how CBS has her portrayed. She will do anything to help out whenever it’s convenient for an actual resident of the Abbott Estate who is played by a human needs or wants something without any heads-up or respect. Perhaps the non-existent screen role of Mrs. Martinez is what makes the existent but entitled role of Kyle Abbott so easy to write for.

Traci Abbott’s Wing with Alan Yet No Room for Diane

Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) has asked her new love interest & more to move in with her into the Abbott Estate. Dr. Alan Laurent (Christopher Cousins) doesn’t want to impose but does want to be wherever Traci is. Traci has assured Alan that she has an entire wing at the Abbott Estate to herself & there is plenty of room to join her.

So, why isn’t there room for Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) even though she is supposedly on the outs with her husband Jack Abbot (Peter Bergman) yet they live inside a mansion? Why isn’t Diane moving out of the Master Bedroom & down another hall inside the Abbott Estate for the both of them to get some space? Traci Abbot is buying it & now Billy Abbott (Jason Abbott) is too. What will happen when Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) returns home from Paris?

Man-Child Kyle Abbott Has Worn Out His Welcome

Yes, Kyle Abbott has a cute son who everyone loves inside & out of the Abbott Estate, but it’s time for him to go. Kyle continues to find ways to be even more disrespectful to everyone he comes in contact with, especially inside the Abbott home. In fact, Kyle has coupled his disrespect with his continued empty threats of moving out with Harrison. It seems Kyle may have finally figured out that Mrs. Martinez isn’t a parting gift if he does find a way out of his family’s home.
