Days of Our Lives Spoilers Next 2 Weeks: Theo Carver Almost Kisses Stephanie Johnson as Sydney DiMera Surprises EJ in Italy

DAYS OF OUR LIVES SPOILERS: THEO CARVER ALMOST KISSES STEPHANIE JOHNSON AS SYDNEY DIMERA SURPRISES EJ IN ITALY
TL;DR: On Days of Our Lives, Theo Carver got close enough to kiss a married Stephanie Johnson before Paulina Price walked up to the table, then spent the evening telling Lani Price the two things he had been carrying: that he thinks DiMera is breaking the law, and that he left his resignation letter on Johnny DiMera’s desk. Sydney DiMera knocked on EJ DiMera’s door in Italy hours before his flight home and told him her mother may not be as finished with him as everyone assumes. Cat Greene admitted to Leo Stark that she used to be ISA, and Paulina wants a governor’s pardon for Lani.
Days of Our Lives Spoilers: This Week (September 14-18, 2026)
Monday, September 14th:
Dante Vitali arrived at a poker table rather than through the front door, introduced himself as the host and as Sami Brady’s fiance, and told Philip Kiriakis he keeps no secrets from her. Gabi Hernandez caught a player named Otto cheating, Dante threw him out, and Philip took the last hand, a straight flush over four of a kind, then told Gabi the money was not enough to save Titan. Overseas, Belle Black and Chad DiMera let themselves into Dominic Marino’s Italian house, found EJ DiMera walking in behind them, and Chad pulled a photograph out of a hidden panel in a duplicate of Stefano’s chess set. The last scene put Dante in front of the man wearing Stefano’s phoenix ring, reporting that the night had gone exactly as planned.
Tuesday, September 15th:
Tuesday belonged to Sarah Horton. She told Xander Kiriakis and Brady Black she had already filed an anonymous complaint with the FDA, accusing DiMera of making contaminated Coriseal and dumping the evidence on Smith Island, and she apologized for not warning them and for nothing else. The complaint reached George O’Halloran the same day. He pulled Johnny DiMera into a meeting, told him to deny and deflect, and reminded him all three of them could go to prison. In Monte Carlo, Philip put his poker winnings on 18 for Victor’s birthday, hit it, and admitted he had kept Gabi’s five million out of the bet.
Wednesday, September 16th:
Theo Carver walked into the CEO’s office, said he had watched George O’Halloran leave, and asked why there was a DiMera Pharma meeting on a day Johnny claimed he had to be home with Chanel DiMera and the kids. Johnny shut the door and handed him all of it: a hospital doctor has filed a complaint alleging DiMera Pharma made a batch of Coriseal that could have been fatal. Theo said he understood, agreed to pick it up in the morning, then sat alone in that office and typed his resignation letter. Over at the pub, Belle rang Brady to ask what the name Dominic Marino meant to anyone in Salem, Xander said the man is buying the Kiriakis mansion, and Steve Johnson got Shane on the phone about him. Alex Kiriakis told Stephanie Johnson that Joy Wesley appears to be paralyzed, Stephanie told him she has ended up at the bottom of his list of responsibilities, and she said goodbye and left. Lani Price covered the babysitting while Chanel was high on pot brownies in the square, and clocked that Johnny was hiding something the second he got home. Theo ended the night at the Small Bar with Stephanie.
Thursday, September 17th:
Sydney DiMera knocked on EJ’s door in Italy the morning he was due to fly home, and the two of them got about four sentences into the visit before Sami and Dante came up and EJ started mocking the length of that engagement. Sydney told him it was mutual: her mother does not want to rush into anything again, and Dante wants her certain she has no regrets. Then she said Sami used to call EJ the love of her life. “Past tense,” EJ said. “Maybe present tense, too,” Sydney answered. He told her how proud he is of her career as a lawyer, and she mentioned she graduated top of her class. He also asked her flat out whether she knows a man named Dominic Marino, and she said she knows the name and nothing else. Belle and Chad knocked a minute later, everybody screamed, and the four of them worked out nobody could stretch the trip. EJ’s fix was to put Sydney on the plane back to Salem with them. Earlier, packing, Belle and Chad had been talking about the Rome house, wide open the day before and shut like Fort Knox now, and about why Stefano would ever have wanted John Black and Marlena Evans to know Dominic exists. Chad said the photograph had him missing the version of his father he knew as a boy. Belle wanted Cat Greene brought in, because Cat used to be ISA and Paul had already run her story and found it clean. “No. No way,” Chad said. Not jealousy, he insisted, he simply does not believe a word she says. Back in Salem, Theo told Stephanie he is always the one there to catch her and that he knows what it is to want somebody he cannot have. Their heads were close enough to finish the thought when Paulina Price walked up to the table, and Theo was gone inside a minute. Hours later he found Lani in the square and told her he believes DiMera is doing illegal things and that he left his resignation letter on the desk for Johnny to find in the morning. She could see how badly he was taking it and told him it was probably not as bad as he thought. “I almost kissed a married woman,” Theo blurted out.
Friday, September 18th:
Friday has EJ pressing Rita Lesley for everything she knows about Dominic Marino. Holly opens up to Ari Horton about Mason’s attitude, and Belle hands Marlena a brand new clue to chew on. Chad finally confronts Cat, reportedly over the ISA background she kept to herself, which lands differently now that Belle has spent a morning arguing for her. Sydney closes the week arriving in Salem, and the weekly promo has somebody greeting her at the Brady Pub with a welcome home, Ms. DiMera.

Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Next Week (September 21-25, 2026)
That photograph out of the Rome chess set is still the thing to watch, because it is the first piece of Stefano’s trail that puts a face beside his rather than a symbol. Thursday added the better question. Belle and Chad were not asking who the boy is, they were asking why Stefano wanted John Black and Marlena Evans to find out Dominic exists at all. The writing team has said the chess board mystery sits at the center of the fall stories, and that Chad and Belle follow the clues to a discovery that changes both of their families forever. That house was wide open on Sunday and locked down by Thursday, which is not the behavior of a man who has finished with them.
Johnny’s Coriseal problem stopped being something he can manage alone the minute Theo asked him a straight question. As of Thursday night there is a resignation letter sitting on a desk waiting for Johnny to find it, and the man who wrote it has already said out loud, to a former police officer, that he thinks DiMera is doing illegal things. Nothing has been spoiled about what Lani does with that. Worth holding in mind that Johnny, Chanel, Holly and Tate are all written to leave Salem eventually and nobody has said when, so every corner these four get backed into reads a little differently.
Keep an eye on the Monte Carlo fallout too. Philip has won two nights running and still has not said he can cover the loan, which is a worse place to be than losing outright. He kept Gabi’s stake out of Tuesday’s wager, and careful is exactly the thing that does not save a company that owes two hundred million. We would still bet on Sydney being a bigger problem for the DiMeras than anyone expects, and she is on the plane home with the two people chasing Stefano’s trail.
Theo’s confession went to the one person in Salem who is both his sister and an ex-cop, and it came out in the wrong order, the law first and the almost-kiss second. Expect the Xander, Sarah and Brady triangle to keep circling too. The writers have said Xander risks everything for Sarah before this is over, and that we will see Kristen DiMera again this fall, and that she does not come back alone. Spoiler chatter has floated, carefully, that Holly may try to talk things out with Mason during the week of September 21 to 25 and may not get the reaction she wants. That is one outlet’s own reading. We checked the day by day grids again this morning and nothing firm about that week has been published anywhere yet. On the usual schedule it should land on Sunday.

Days of Our Lives Spoilers: The Big Stories Right Now
The Rome House Gave Up a Photograph From 1992
A dinner reservation nobody made sent Belle and Chad to a Rome palazzo owned by Dominic Marino, its street number matching a serial hidden inside Stefano’s chess set. On Monday they got inside with EJ, and a hidden panel in a duplicate chess set gave up a photograph of Stefano standing with a young blonde boy, dated 1992 on the back. EJ asked out loud whether the boy could be Marino. Nobody answered him, and nobody has proved Marino is the hand moving pieces on that board. By Thursday the house was locked down tight, Chad was talking about the picture as a reminder of the father he had as a child, and the two of them had landed on the part that should worry everybody: Stefano wanted John and Marlena to know this man exists. One thing in that room has gone almost unnoticed, which is that the board in Rome still has every one of its pawns while the set Stefano left in Salem is missing one, and it was his own will that named John Black as his pawn.
Sydney DiMera Turned Up in Italy Without Warning
EJ flew to Italy telling everyone he was visiting his daughter. On Thursday his daughter knocked on his door instead, and she had taken time off work to do it. What she brought with her is the line that will travel: Sami used to call EJ the love of her life, and when he said past tense, Sydney said maybe present tense too. She also thinks Dante is good for her mother, which is the kind of even-handed thing people say right before they pick a side. EJ praised her career as a lawyer and she told him she graduated top of her class, the first time the show has put a job on her. Then he asked whether she knows Dominic Marino. She said she knows the name. Not him, the name, which is more than Brady Black could manage on Wednesday and worth remembering when she lands in Salem on Friday with Belle and Chad on the same plane.
Johnny’s Coriseal Cover-Up Finally Cost Him Somebody
Steve and Brady ran the hospital footage through an enhancement and came away with a reflection in a mirror, clear enough to put Johnny at the scene and nowhere near clear enough to show what he was doing there. What none of them planned for is that Sarah had already gone around the lot of them and reported DiMera to a federal regulator. Then Wednesday happened. Theo stopped circling and simply asked, Johnny shut the office door and told him the complaint alleges DiMera Pharma made a batch of Coriseal that could have killed people, and Theo said he understood. What he did once that door closed was type his resignation and leave it on the desk for Johnny to find in the morning. He told Stephanie back on September 7 that if Johnny was hiding something he was finished working with him and EJ, and almost nobody clocked it at the time. He meant it. On Thursday he told Lani he is sure Johnny has been lying to him, which is the version Johnny does not get to manage.
Black Patch Just Put Marino on the Board
On Wednesday the hunt picked up a second front, and this one runs through Salem. Belle called Brady from Italy to ask what the name meant back home, and it meant nothing to him until Xander said it out loud at the next table and told him the man is buying the Kiriakis mansion. Steve got Shane on the phone about him. The interesting part is what the two of them concluded, which is that a billionaire this hard to find had let his name out on purpose. Xander has his own problem with that. He and Maggie Kiriakis were supposed to sign the broker’s paperwork that day and have not, and he cannot shake the feeling the buyer is tied to the DiMeras.
Dante Vitali Was Never Just the Host
Franco LoPresti debuted as Dante Vitali on Monday and spent most of the hour looking like a generous stranger with good manners. He is a cousin of Ava Vitali, born and raised in Italy, and he built his own finance dynasty while putting distance between himself and the family name. Then the closing scene put him in front of the man wearing Stefano’s phoenix ring, reporting that Philip could never have won enough and that Gabi had cleared the cheat off the table for him. He signed off with two words. Well played, Dom. Whoever Dom is, Dante answers to him, and Philip has no idea he spent his last chance on a rigged evening.
Somebody Is Wearing Stefano’s Ring, and Rita Is Not Telling
Rita lifted Stefano’s phoenix ring off EJ’s coffee table and lied straight to his face about where it went. Four days later a man whose face we have never seen slid that ring onto his pinky in a study with Stefano’s portrait on the wall, and nobody has ever shown us how it travelled from her hand to his. That gap is the whole point. As of Monday he has stopped being a man who only watches, because Dante now reports to him directly. EJ thinks Dr. Rolf is feeding Belle and Chad their clues and has ordered Rita to find him, and she agreed a shade too quickly.
Philip Won Twice and Still Has Not Won Enough
Gabi put Philip in that chair knowing exactly what his history with gambling looks like. He won the last hand on Monday and it was the wrong kind of win, because without the cheat’s chips in the pot the pile was never going to cover what Titan owes, and the mansion sale to Marino closed while they were still playing. On Tuesday he carried the whole pile to a roulette wheel and 18 came in for him, then told Gabi he had held her five million back out of the bet. Careful, and still nowhere near enough.

Cat Greene Said the Word ISA Out Loud
Rafe Hernandez handed Gwen Rizczech’s confession letter to the hospital board and killed her bid stone dead, because the letter named EJ as her silent partner. Leo Stark swore it was deleted before he read it, then remembered mentioning it to Cat, then accused her outright of taking it, and she denied it. On Thursday he tried a different angle in the square, telling her a source says the FDA is looking at DiMera Pharma and asking whether the ISA has a hand in it. She denied that too, and said again she is not joining his anti-EJ campaign. Then she told him she used to be in the ISA. Leo was delighted with himself. Cat added that she has already told EJ and cannot read how he took it. Belle spent that same morning in Italy arguing Cat is exactly who they need, with Paul’s check of her story to back it up, and Chad shot it down without a second of thought. Kayla passed the rest to Steve on Wednesday: Gwen’s deal is dead and the hospital has gone into receivership, so somebody else gets to come shopping.
Xander Heard Sarah Say It Out Loud
Maggie Kiriakis found Xander packing up the Titan office and staring at a photo of Sarah with Victoria, and he told her the part that actually hurts. He overheard Sarah tell Brady she loved him at the daddy-daughter dance, and his own words were that he has had to accept Sarah loves another man and he will never love another woman. He sat down with Sarah and Brady on Tuesday anyway, lost an argument about the FDA complaint he had not been told about, and stayed in the room. On Wednesday the two of them went back over the bad years, and Xander said the one thing he has never regretted is loving her.
Stephanie Said Goodbye, Then Nearly Kissed Somebody Else
Alex asked Kayla to take Kelsey for an hour so he could tell his wife alone that Joy Wesley appears to be paralyzed after the surgery, that it may be temporary, and that nobody can tell him how long any of it takes. What Stephanie heard was a list of people Alex owes something to with her name at the bottom of it, and she said so before she said goodbye and walked out. Her mother got the part she is ashamed of, which is that the odds were so slim she has wondered whether Joy is faking, and Kayla told her involuntary reflexes are not a thing a person can fake. Then came Thursday at the Small Bar, where Theo told her he is always the one there to catch her and that he knows what it is to want somebody he cannot have, and the pair of them leaned in close enough that Paulina walking up was the only reason nothing happened. Stephanie told Paulina she had not interrupted anything. Paulina’s face said she had seen it, and Theo told Lani about it before the night was out.
Paulina Wants the Governor to Pardon Lani
Paulina came to Stephanie for public relations advice, which is a small miracle given she fired her from the last campaign, and the subject was Lani. She saw something in Lani’s eyes when she took that mugger down in the square, and she has never stopped feeling sick that Lani carried the consequences of protecting her from her own father. So Paulina wants to go to the governor for a pardon and wanted to know how you make that happen. Stephanie gave her plenty to think about first. Leo, meanwhile, is chasing the same story from the cheap end, pitching Lani as episode one of a podcast about unsung heroes and getting a flat no for his trouble. Two people want Lani’s name in public this week. Only one of them is offering her anything.

Days of Our Lives Spoilers FAQs
Who Is Dominic Marino, Really?
He’s the reclusive Italian billionaire who bought the Kiriakis mansion in cash, and he owns the Rome palazzo at the end of Stefano’s clue trail. He has never appeared on screen and nobody in Salem has met him. Belle, Chad and EJ got inside his Italian house on Monday and came out with a 1992 photograph of Stefano beside a young blonde boy, and EJ wondered aloud whether the boy might be Marino himself. By Thursday the house was sealed up, Black Patch was on him from the Salem end with Steve calling Shane, and EJ had asked Sydney about him directly. She knows the name and nothing else, which is still one name more than Brady had. Marlena is set to note that Marino means the same thing as DiMera, a hint the show is dropping on purpose, and a hint is still all it is.
Is Sydney DiMera Moving Back to Salem?
Nothing that formal. She took time off work to surprise EJ in Italy, and when everyone realized the trip could not be stretched, EJ was the one who suggested she fly home with Belle and Chad instead. She arrives in Salem on Friday. Thursday also gave her an occupation for the first time: EJ said he is proud of her career as a lawyer and Sydney said she graduated at the top of her class. How long she stays, and what she actually wants, nobody has spoiled.
Was Cat Greene Really ISA?
She says so herself now. Cat told Leo Stark in the square on Thursday that she used to be in the ISA, after months of denying anything of the kind, and she said she has already told EJ and cannot read how he took it. Belle knew before that conversation and had Paul check the story out, and it held up. Chad refuses to believe a word Cat says regardless, and he confronts her on Friday. What nobody has explained is why she told Leo, of all people, in the middle of a public square.
Who Is Dante Vitali?
He’s a finance mogul born and raised in Italy, a cousin of Ava Vitali, and he turned up in Monte Carlo calling Sami Brady his fiancee. Franco LoPresti debuted in the role on Monday, September 14, in what has been reported as a limited run with no end date attached to it. As of his very first episode he is also reporting to the man wearing Stefano’s phoenix ring, which nobody at that table knows. Sydney says the long engagement is mutual, and that her mother is not rushing into anything again.
Did Philip Save Titan and the Kiriakis Mansion?
No, and he has won on two nights running. He took the final poker hand on Monday and told Gabi straight away it was not enough, and the mansion sale to Dominic Marino had already closed days before. On Tuesday he put the winnings on roulette number 18, Victor’s birthday, and won again, then admitted he had kept Gabi’s five million out of the bet. Nobody has printed what either win was worth, and nothing so far says Titan is covered.
Is Johnny Going to Get Caught?
He is one unread resignation letter closer than he was on Tuesday. Steve and Brady have the footage, Sarah has reported DiMera to the FDA over the contaminated Coriseal, and George O’Halloran has warned Johnny all three of them could end up in prison. Then on Wednesday Theo asked him directly, Johnny told him what the complaint alleges, and Theo left a resignation on the desk for him to find in the morning. On Thursday Theo told Lani he believes the company is doing illegal things and that he is certain Johnny has been lying to him. That is the first time any of this has been said out loud to somebody with no stake in DiMera.
What Did Sarah Horton Do to DiMera?
She filed an anonymous complaint with the FDA, accusing DiMera of manufacturing contaminated Coriseal and getting rid of the evidence on Smith Island, and she would not take it back when Xander confronted her. It is the first move anyone in this story has made that DiMera cannot answer by discrediting a person. Johnny described it to Theo on Wednesday as a hospital doctor alleging a batch that could have been fatal, so the company knows exactly how bad it reads.
Are Alex and Stephanie Over?
Nobody has spoiled a divorce, and they are still married. Wednesday was the goodbye, after Alex told her that Joy Wesley appears to be paralyzed after surgery with no timeline on any of it and Stephanie told him she has ended up at the bottom of his list. Thursday was the other shoe. She and Theo got close enough at the Small Bar that Paulina walking up was the only thing that stopped it, and Theo said so to Lani that evening without ever using Stephanie’s name. Stephanie has been living apart from Alex since late August, and the custody terms Alex signed on September 7 keep her ten feet from Kelsey for a year, so the distance is not new. What is new is somebody else in the frame.
Why Does Mason Have It In for Holly Jonas?
Ari pushed him on it and he answered plainly. He doesn’t know Holly, but he holds her responsible for the death of someone he did know. He has never said who, on screen or anywhere else, and everything circulating about who that person might be is guesswork. Holly opens up to Ari about him on Friday, so the answer may not stay buried much longer.

Yes, it will be sad that she is dying. She was very unfair in her decision to treat Paulina like nothing. Paulina was strong to pull away & deserves recognition.
