Danny Romalotti & his Cricket are back in Genoa City on Young & the Restless, but for how long? Per Danny’s conversation with his son Daniel at Society, long enough to propose marriage to almost everyone’s least favorite bug. Phyllis Summers best get out of that maze in France with a deal with Dumas &/or intimately with Nick Newman, or there will be hell to pay.
Permission to Marry the Bug, but Not Where in Genoa
Did Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian) & The Bug seriously just return to Genoa City for Danny to get permission from his son, Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei), to marry Cricket? How did Daniel not know Danny & Cricket were returning to Genoa City if they talk every day? Is Cricket/Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell) even still a lawyer? There are so many questions. Just more lather, rinse, repeat of loopholes on Young & the Restless…
Regardless, of course, Daniel approved of Danny’s inquiry to marry his beloved bug. Cricket is Daniel’s godmother, so there’s that. Also, Daniel almost never ever supports his mother, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford). No matter what Phyllis aspires to do personally or professionally, Daniel turns into Debbie-Downer-Daniel & rarely offers a shred of support. Daniel endorsing his dad to marry his mother’s least favorite bug is the most awful frosting Daniel could spread on his mother’s cake. Too bad Danny & Cricket don’t have a venue yet… Or, a ring.
Sex Without Sets on Y&R With Mansions to Marry In
The last wedding in Genoa City on Young & the Restless was that of Victor’s often forgotten about daughter, Abby Newman-now-Winters (Melissa Ordway) & Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) inside Victor & Nikki Newman’s (Eric Braeden & Melody Thomas Scott) new ranch house. Apparently, the Chancellor Mansion, where Abby & Devon now live, wasn’t good enough for the former naked heiress & her Debbie Downer main squeeze… Or, there are just limited sets on this legacy soap opera.
So, where will Danny & Cricket be married? Christine was involved with Devon’s custody & name changing of Abby’s baby Dominic. That kid’s name is seriously Dominic Chancellor Abbott Newman Winters, & that occurred before Abby & Devon got together via cheating on their at that time existing lovers, Chance Chancellor (Connor Floyd) & Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan), respectively. Wouldn’t Abby & Devon enjoy the opportunity to host their favorite lawyer’s wedding to an international rockstar?

Across social media, Young & the Restless fans have been commenting on the lack of fans following Danny Romalotti around Genoa City during his latest visit. Is Danny Romalotti Wisconsin’s least favorite rock star? Is Christine Blair his only fan? She isn’t, but she’s his #1.
The Chancellor Estate has gone from seen to unseen, but not its resident’s restaurant, Society, in Genoa City. Perhaps Abby will be the one after all to volunteer a venue for Danny & Cricket’s wedding, not inside her mansion home, but inside her restaurant. Danny without fans & Christine without clients will fit quite well inside Society.
