For Young & the Restless fans who are not on antidepressants, they may want to consider an entry level of Zoloft, especially for the older & most loyal of Y&R fans. For a while, kidnapping was trending, but now Genoa City residents are dropping dead left & right with a side of kidnapping. Sharon Newman & Young & the Restless fans need a break.

How long will it be until someone else is killed off on Young & the Restless & who will it be?

Detective Chance Chancellor’s Untimely Death

Killing off Chance Chancellor, regardless of who was portraying him, was one of the worst moves by Young & the Restless. Sure, Detective Chance Chancellor (Connor Floyd) wasn’t the best detective, but he was a freaking Chancellor. The late Katherine Chancellor (the late Jeanne Cooper) is rolling in her grave right now. Katherine in soap opera land, out of how Chance Chancellor was killed on Y&R, & Jeanne Cooper out of disappointment for the writing of Young & the Restless at this time.

There’s hardly a day that Young & the Restless fans do not hear about Chancellor Industries. Yes, Chance worked there for about 10 minutes, but still… Shouldn’t there be at least one Chancellor on the show?… & seriously, Chance Chancellor’s legal/non-biological son, Dominic Abbott Newman Chancellor Winters, does not count.

Heather Stevens Brought Back for What?!?

Speaking of detectives, former GCPD Detective Paul Williams’ (Doug Davidson) daughter, Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom), was brought back to Genoa City on Young & the Restless after a long hiatus. Unfortunately, for Y&R fans, her return to Genoa City was much, much shorter than her hiatus. She was killed off by Ian Ward (Ray Wise).

While Paul Williams was simply written off, Young & the Restless fans with hope that me may grace his presence at least once again in Genoa City, although it’s unlikely. Paul had a son once upon a time. He was killed off years ago. Now, the only tie to Paul Williams, his daughter Heather, is dead & gone.

Heather Stevens didn’t need to be killed off & she didn’t need to stay with Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei). She could have ended up with Chance Chancellor if they both weren’t killed off by Y&R.  Vail Bloom & Connor Floyd would have been HOT!

J. Eddie Peck Very Long Hiatus & His Too Short Return

Speaking of taking a hiatus, J. Eddie Peck took a much, much longer hiatus than Vail Bloom did portraying Heather Stevens. Yet, out of nowhere, he popped up in Oregon to supposedly save the Newmans from Claire Grace now Newman (Hayley Erin) & her Aunt Jordan (Colleen Zenk). Now he’s dead & not because of Claire or Aunt Jordan, but because of Victor Newman (Eric Braeden).

If you ask Victor Newman, his daughter Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) isn’t allowed to be in love. Cole Howard landed back in her life & they reconnected over the daughter whom they thought they lost decades ago. Victor hired Cole on at Newman & then sent him overseas on a business trip where he conveniently got sick, & now he’s dead.

It now makes sense why Claire didn’t take her dad’s last name, Howard, when she updated her name to Claire Newman. Cole never had any other children. His mom is dead & his Aunt Jordan is supposedly dead. It’s almost like Cole Howard was never a part of life in Genoa City on Young & the Restless.

Who’s Next to Be 6 Feet Deep on Young & the Restless?

If Young & the Restless fans were calling the shots, it would be Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn). No one wanted Cane back on this soap to start with, & now he has three deaths on his watch & it hasn’t been going that long.

With Chance Chancellor dead, some may say his mother, Nina Webster (Tricia Cast), is without purpose on Young & the Restless. However, her BFF Cricket/Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell) is newly engaged to Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian) & she’ll have to make an appearance.

Otherwise, whoever dates Victoria Newman should watch out. They will be fired, be tormented, &/or will die at Victor Newman’s will.
