Is anyone surprised that Sheila Carter was lurking in corners listening to private conversations? Anyone? No? That’s what we thought. On Friday’s Bold and the Beautiful, Sheila confronts Deke Sharpe after eavesdropping on him and Deacon, and we need everyone to understand how absolutely UNHINGED this woman is.

Sheila doesn’t just happen to overhear things. She POSITIONS herself to overhear things. She lurks. She creeps. She presses her ear against doors like it’s her full-time job. And then, instead of keeping what she heard to herself like a normal person, she confronts people about it. Sheila Carter has never heard of minding her own business, and she’s not about to start now.

What Did Deacon and Deke Talk About?

The million-dollar question is what Sheila overheard that was juicy enough to warrant a confrontation. Thursday’s spoilers had Deacon making an “admission” to Deke, so whatever father-son conversation they had clearly contained something Sheila found VERY interesting.

Was Deacon confessing his feelings for Taylor? Was he expressing doubts about his marriage to Sheila? Was Deke badmouthing his stepmother? Whatever it was, Sheila heard it, and now she’s coming for Deke. Not Deacon, her HUSBAND. She’s going after the SON. Because Sheila Carter always chooses violence, especially toward people who can’t fight back as easily.

Deke already told Sheila he doesn’t want her married to his father. He’s been suspicious of her from the start. And now Sheila has ammunition from whatever she overheard. This confrontation is going to be tense and terrifying, because Sheila doesn’t do calm discussions. She does threats and intimidation with a smile.

Sheila Carter Is Losing Her Grip

Here’s what’s really going on: Sheila can feel her marriage slipping away. She knows Deacon has feelings for Taylor. She’s already threatened to KILL Taylor if she makes a move. She’s been showing up at Taylor’s office uninvited, marking her territory like a feral cat. And now she’s eavesdropping on her husband’s conversations with his son?

Sheila is spiraling, and a spiraling Sheila is a DANGEROUS Sheila. Kimberlin Brown plays unhinged like nobody else, and watching Sheila confront Deke is going to be both entertaining and anxiety-inducing. Deke better watch his back, because his stepmother is not the kind of woman you want as an enemy.

Harrison Cone has been holding his own against Kimberlin Brown in their scenes together, and Friday should deliver another tense showdown. Deke isn’t intimidated by Sheila, which only makes her more dangerous. She’s not used to people standing up to her.

Daphne and Carter Talk It Out

In potentially happier news, Daphne Rose and Carter Walton talk through their relationship on Friday. After Daphne attempted to let Carter down on Thursday because he couldn’t clarify his feelings at Christmas, it seems like they’re finally having the conversation they should have had weeks ago.

Is Carter finally fighting for Daphne? Is he explaining why he choked? Is he begging her not to leave for Paris? Whatever they discuss, “talking through their relationship” sounds like progress. Maybe Carter finally found the words. Maybe Daphne is giving him one more chance. Friday could be the turning point for these two.

A Kiss Lingers Between Deacon and Taylor

And finally, the moment we’ve been building toward: a possibility of a kiss lingers on Friday. Given everything that’s been happening between Deacon Sharpe and Taylor Hayes, this is almost certainly about them.

Deacon and Taylor have been dancing around their feelings for weeks. Taylor confessed to Steffy that she has feelings for Deacon. Deacon has been visiting Taylor’s office and asking her what she feels. The tension has been THICK. And now, with Sheila eavesdropping and spiraling, a possible kiss between Deacon and Taylor is basically pouring gasoline on an open flame.

If Deacon and Taylor kiss, Sheila is going to LOSE IT. She already threatened to kill Taylor. This is not going to end well for anyone, but we cannot look away.
