Listen, soap fans, we just watched one of the most calculated murders in Salem history, and Kristen DiMera could be about to take the fall for it. Here’s what actually happened versus what the police are going to THINK happened.

Peter Blake was lying in a coma at the hospital after Kristen knocked him unconscious in the DiMera crypt to stop him from releasing poisonous gas that would have killed the entire family. Kristen was recovering from an infection in the same hospital. When doctors asked Kristen whether to pull Peter’s plug, she went to his room to see him one last time.

That’s when Peter WOKE UP. And he was FURIOUS. He screamed at Kristen that he’d “see her in hell” because she betrayed him in the crypt. Kristen rushed out and told Dr. Kayla Johnson that Peter was awake. Kayla immediately called detectives Rafe Hernandez and Jada Hunter to inform them Peter had regained consciousness.

But then something sinister happened on Days of Our Lives. A masked “doctor” entered Peter’s room with a syringe, injected something into Peter’s IV bag, and calmly walked out. Moments later, a code blue was called. And when that “doctor” removed his mask for a second? It was Dr. Wilhelm Rolf, the DiMera family’s mad scientist.

Peter Blake is dead. And Kristen DiMera may be accused of killing him.

Kristen DiMera Looks EXTREMELY Guilty

From a police perspective, Kristen DiMera is the perfect suspect. She had MOTIVE—Peter kidnapped and tried to kill the entire DiMera family with poisonous gas. She was the LAST person to see Peter alive, alone with him right before he died. She already proved she’s willing to use violence against him by knocking him unconscious in the a crypt. Peter woke up and threatened her, telling her he’d see her in hell. Then she rushed out looking upset, and he immediately died.

The circumstantial evidence is overwhelming. Nobody saw Dr. Rolf enter that room. Nobody knows a masked doctor injected poison into Peter’s IV. As far as Rafe and Jada know, Kristen went in, fought with Peter, left, and he died. When that autopsy comes back showing Peter was poisoned? Kristen could be arrested for murder.

Dr. Wilhelm Rolf Is a Psychopath

But here’s what actually happened: Dr. Wilhelm Rolf murdered Peter Blake because Peter threatened the DiMera family. Dr. Rolf has been the DiMera family’s loyal servant for DECADES. This man has brought people back from the dead, created mind-control serums, conducted illegal experiments, and committed countless crimes—all in service of the DiMera name.

Dr. Rolf is currently working with EJ DiMera on secret projects in the DiMera laboratory. And if there’s one thing Dr. Rolf cannot tolerate, it’s someone threatening the family he’s sworn to protect. The question is: did EJ ORDER the hit? Or did Dr. Rolf act on his own? Because if EJ told Dr. Rolf to kill Peter, then EJ is going to sit back and watch his sister get arrested for a murder HE commissioned. That’s cold. Even by DiMera standards.

Rafe Hernandez and Jada Hunter Are Walking Into A Setup

Poor Rafe and Jada. These two excellent detectives are about to investigate a murder where all the evidence points to the wrong person. They’re going to interview Kristen, hear about her confrontation with Peter, see that she was the last person in his room, and get autopsy results showing he was poisoned.

And they’re going to arrest Kristen DiMera for murder.

From their perspective, it’s an open-and-shut case.

Will Kristen Face Murder Charges She Doesn’t Deserve?

Here’s the tragic irony: Kristen actually tried to SAVE her brother’s life. When doctors asked if they should pull the plug, Kristen went to see Peter one last time. She wasn’t there to kill him—she was there to say goodbye.

Yes, Kristen knocked Peter out in the crypt. But she did that to STOP him from killing innocent people. She chose her family over her biological brother, but she wasn’t trying to murder him.

And now she may be accused of premeditated murder. She could go to prison for LIFE. The only way Kristen avoids conviction is if someone discovers the truth about Dr. Rolf. And it’s about time.
