The week kicks off with Maggie Kiriakis confronting Xander, and she is absolutely LIVID! After Xander fired Brady Black from Titan Industries purely out of jealousy over Brady’s kiss with Sarah, Maggie has reached her limit with her nephew’s reckless leadership. Weaponizing the family company to punish your wife’s ex is NOT a good look, Xander!
Sarah comforts Brady after the firing, which is only going to make Xander’s jealousy worse. The delicious irony here is that by trying to keep Brady away from Sarah, Xander is literally pushing them closer together. Sometimes the trash takes itself out, and sometimes it sets itself on fire first!

Sarah and Brady’s connection deepens, proving that Xander’s master plan is backfiring spectacularly. These two are bonding over shared frustration with Xander’s behavior, and honestly? We’re kind of here for it.
The Days of Our Lives spoilers confirm that Sophia Choi escapes from Bayview during the week, and she has scores to settle with Johnny and Chanel! Sophia doesn’t believe Johnny and Chanel should be raising her biological son Trey, and Rachel Black has been helping her plot this escape for weeks. The timing couldn’t be worse because Chanel is PREGNANT, putting both her and her unborn baby in serious danger!

Dimitri crashed Leo and Javi’s wedding last week, revealed he never wanted to break up, and then kissed Leo on Friday! Now Leo is torn between his new husband and his ex-boyfriend, and Chad is apparently his sounding board for this mess.

Maggie Kiriakis vents to Julie Williams, suggesting she’s STILL furious days later about Xander’s behavior. When Maggie is complaining to Julie about you, you know you’ve really stepped in it!
Belle Black and Chad agree to help each other move on. Chad wants to put Cat Greene in his rearview mirror, and Belle is trying to get over EJ. Whether this leads to romance remains to be seen! Kristen makes a proposal to Rafe connected to Peter Blake and Rachel’s Bayview situation. And Philip and Gabi make plans, but Gabi is keeping a HUGE secret about her role in dismantling the Titan-DiMera merger. When Philip finds out, it’s going to be explosive!
Friday, January 16
Sarah opens up to Maggie Kiriakis about everything that’s been happening, and Xander lashes out at Brady as the tension reaches a boiling point. These two are heading for an epic showdown!
Leo proves his love to Javi in what promises to be a grand gesture, but will it be enough to overcome the Dimitri kiss? Meanwhile, Dimitri gets the upper hand on Gwen, who arranged for him to crash the wedding as revenge. Now Dimitri is threatening to divorce her and leave her penniless! Chanel confides in Theo, possibly about Sophia’s escape. Johnny tips Rafe off about something, and Cat Greene attempts a break-in, probably related to her undercover ISA work.
