The Great Victor Newman Reduced to Asking Cane Ashby for Mercy
Oh, Young and the Restless fans, we need to SAVOR this moment! Victor Newman, the man who bows to NO ONE, actually tracks down Cane Ashby at his train car and asks what it’ll take to end “this madness.” VICTOR. ASKING CANE. FOR A FAVOR. Someone check if hell has frozen over!
Back at Newman Enterprises, the family is in full panic mode. Victoria and Adam are on the phone with IT trying to stop the bleeding, but the tech team can’t shut the AI program down. It’s eating the company ALIVE! Victoria gasps when she gets a notification that one of their divisions has been completely wiped out. Nikki thinks they need to shut the whole company down NOW, but Victor won’t allow it. He gets up and stalks out of the house growling, “Cane Ashby, this ends now!”
Nikki is FURIOUS. She reminds everyone that this was all so unnecessary. Victor only started this whole mess to punish Jack, and he wouldn’t even trade the AI to get Matt Clark off the street! Adam notes that Victor was probably planning to make that trade before the attack started, but now that leverage is GONE. Jack can rest easy while the Newmans watch their empire crumble!

Phyllis Summers Is Having the Time of Her Life
Meanwhile, Phyllis is literally DAYDREAMING about Victor handing her a giant key to Newman Enterprises! In her fantasy, Victor tells her she won fair and square and that she was “the true danger all along.” Victor and Nikki even declare her the true heir to Katherine Chancellor! This woman is absolutely UNHINGED and we love her for it!
When Cane pops champagne, Phyllis toasts “To having it all!” She can’t wait to stand in front of Victor and tell him SHE was responsible for him losing everything. She’s already planning to take over his office and use his portrait as a DARTBOARD! When Victor starts blowing up both their phones, Phyllis just grins. “Stew away, Victor. Stew away.”
Cane mentions he’s worried about Billy, but Phyllis shuts that down FAST. She says Billy was her only friend for years and he repaid her by manipulating and lying to her. She warns Cane that helping Billy will come back to bite him. But after they celebrate their victory in bed AGAIN, Cane secretly calls Billy and asks to meet him in the morning. What is Cane planning?!
Jack and Diane Are Popping Imaginary Champagne
Over at the Abbott mansion, Diane can’t believe Matt Clark is alive and wishes she could’ve seen Victor’s face when they brought him over! Jack tells her Victor got a text and the color drained from his face. Whatever happened, Victor was SCARED!
Diane is overjoyed and says something she never thought she’d say: “Yay Phyllis!” Jack agrees but worries that Cane and Phyllis might still use the AI against Jabot next. Diane laughs at how things change. Yesterday their biggest problem was stopping Victor from taking Jabot down. Tonight? She’s getting a good night’s sleep and hopes Victor WON’T!
Sally Catches Billy in a Lie About His Revenge Obsession
At Billy’s apartment, Sally walks in to find Billy drinking alone and toasting to “Victor Newman and Newman Enterprises going up in flames.” NOT a great look! Sally confronts him about being jumpy and agitated lately, and admits she overheard him tell Jack he was JEALOUS that Phyllis and Cane were the ones to take Victor down instead of him.
Billy swore he was finished wanting revenge, but he LIED. Sally reminds him his obsession with getting back at Victor has been an issue between them from day one. Billy finally admits it: he wishes it was HIM who brought Victor down! Sally says he doesn’t have a drinking problem, he has an OBSESSION problem. Billy promises to stop, but only if Sally allows him one more obsession: HER. Smooth recovery, Billy, but Sally’s eye roll says she’s not entirely convinced!
Victor Newman asking Cane Ashby for mercy is something I never thought I’d see! Is this the end of Newman Enterprises? Sound off below!
