Leo Stark’s Marriage CRUMBLES as Javi Leaves Town on Monday’s DEVASTATING DAYS Spoilers
Leo Stark’s marriage to Javi crumbles on Days of Our Lives Monday as his husband leaves Salem on a one-way ticket.
GRAB YOUR KLEENEX ON MONDAY AS LEO STARK’S HAPPILY EVER AFTER BOARDS A ONE-WAY TICKET OUT OF SALEM
TL;DR: Days of Our Lives spoilers for Monday, January 19 reveal Leo Stark and Javi share a bittersweet moment that might spell the end of their marriage. Meanwhile, Ari gets grilled by Gabi and Rafe, Chanel and Johnny prepare for Trey’s christening, and Sophia is shocked by Holly.
Leo Stark Just Got Married and His Husband Is Already Leaving
Someone please explain how Days of Our Lives thought it was acceptable to give Leo Stark the wedding of his dreams on New Year’s Eve only to rip his entire marriage apart before the champagne went flat.
Monday’s episode delivers what the spoilers are calling a “bittersweet moment” between Leo and Javi. Translation? Javi Hernandez is leaving Salem with a one-way ticket to Texas, and he’s not even bothering to have a proper goodbye conversation with the man he just married.
Look, we understand Javi’s father having surgery. Family emergencies are valid reasons to travel. But a one-way ticket? That’s not “I need to support my dad.” That’s “I’m running away from my problems and using my father’s medical situation as a convenient excuse.”
Leo Stark has spent the past two weeks proving that Javi is the one he wants. He told Dimitri to his face that their relationship is over. He confided in Marlena, in Chad, in anyone who would listen that his heart belongs to Javi. What more does this man have to do?

The Dimitri Problem That Won’t Die
Here’s the thing that kills us. Dimitri von Leuschner showed up at Leo and Javi’s wedding uninvited, announced he was still in love with Leo, kissed him without consent, and somehow JAVI is punishing LEO.
Gwen orchestrated this entire disaster as revenge for Leo’s affair with Dimitri back when she was married to him. She forged the breakup letter that made Leo think Dimitri abandoned him. She arranged for Dimitri to be kidnapped and held in Alamania for a year. And when she finally let Dimitri loose, she timed it perfectly to destroy Leo’s wedding.
Gwen succeeded beyond her wildest dreams because Javi has essentially given up without a fight. Instead of standing beside his husband and facing this challenge together, Javi told Leo to go talk to Dimitri, then made zero effort to communicate his own feelings, and is now fleeing to Texas on a one-way ticket.
Leo Stark deserves better. The man has grown so much from the scheming mess he used to be. He found genuine love, committed to marriage, and is actively choosing his husband every single day. And his reward is watching Javi walk out the door.
Meanwhile, the Hernandez Siblings Want Answers
While Leo’s marriage disintegrates, Ari finds herself in the hot seat as Gabi and Rafe demand to know exactly what she saw in Horton Town Square.
Remember when Ari spotted a hooded figure that looked suspiciously like Sophia Choi, the Bayview patient who’s supposedly catatonic and unable to speak? Yeah, Gabi and Rafe have questions about that. Lots of questions.
Ari is caught in an impossible position. If she confirms what she saw, she’s potentially getting a mentally unstable teenager in serious trouble. If she downplays it, she might be enabling whatever chaos Sophia is planning next. Either way, the Hernandez siblings are not letting this go until they get satisfactory answers.
Trey’s Big Day Arrives
Chanel and Johnny are preparing for an important milestone in baby Trey’s life, presumably his christening. Given everything these two have been through with Chanel’s risky pregnancy and Johnny’s anxiety about potentially losing his wife, this should be a beautiful family moment.
Should be. This is Salem. Nothing beautiful happens without something going catastrophically wrong.
The spoilers mention hoping nothing goes awry, which in soap opera language basically guarantees that something will absolutely go awry. Whether Sophia crashes the christening or some other DiMera drama erupts, Chanel and Johnny’s peaceful family celebration is likely doomed.
Sophia Sees Something She Didn’t Expect
Speaking of Sophia, Monday’s Days of Our Lives has her catching a glimpse of Holly and being “downright shocked” by what she sees.
Holly has been busy cozying up to her new sorority crowd and developing quite the superior attitude. Her personality shift has been noticeable to everyone around her, and apparently whatever Sophia witnesses is jarring enough to shock even her.
Is Holly behaving badly in public? Is she dressed in a way that suggests her new friends are a terrible influence? Whatever Sophia sees, it’s clearly not the Holly she remembers.

I’m so upset that Javi & Leo’s marriage didn’t even get a chance to start. How could Javi just give up like that. He knows Leo’s loves him!! I would like Javi to come back even if it’s a different actor. They would be so happy together. And I really don’t want him to go back to that creep who came back!!!

Javi is extra hard on Leo. Leo professed his love to Javi more than once. Leo really wants Javi as his husband. I don’t know why Javi is coming hard on Leo. Leo deserves happiness. Leo is a changed man. Javi don’t lose faith in Leo, he wants to spend the rest of his life with you.
