STEFAN DIMERA HAS ALREADY CHEATED DEATH ONCE. SECOND TIME’S THE CHARM BUT DAYS FANS AREN’T BELIEVING THIS FOR A SECOND

TL;DR: Rafe Hernandez and Eli Grant are heading to Alamania to question Vivian Alamain about the DiMera kidnappings and to confirm whether Stefan DiMera is actually dead on Days of Our Lives. The only evidence of Stefan’s death is a photo of a tombstone sent by VIVIAN, the woman who kidnapped him in the first place. Gabi wants closure, but fans are screaming that this man has already been resurrected once and nobody trusts a single word out of Vivian’s mouth.

The “Evidence” of Stefan’s Death Is Laughably Flimsy

Let’s examine the so-called proof that Stefan DiMera is dead. Peter Blake mentioned it during his unhinged rant in the DiMera crypt. Then Vivian Alamain confirmed it over the phone. And finally, she sent Rafe a photo of Stefan’s tombstone claiming his heart gave out a few months ago.

That’s it. That’s the entire BODY of evidence. A photo. With no body. From Vivian. The same Vivian Alamain who has faked her own death multiple times, participated in baby kidnappings, and literally had her henchman Ivan drug Stefan and stuff him in a trunk to drag him back to Alamania against his will. We’re supposed to believe her NOW? Please.

Rafe himself isn’t fully buying it. On Monday’s Days of Our Lives, he got a text from Eli about their upcoming trip to Alamania. The official reasons are to question Vivian about the DiMera kidnappings and to confirm Stefan is actually dead. Notice the word CONFIRM. Even the FBI isn’t taking Vivian’s word for it.

That Crypt Camera Was Sending Signals to Alamania! Not Boise, Friends, Alamania!

Here’s where things get really suspicious. When Jada and Rafe investigated the DiMera crypt after rescuing the kidnapped family members, they discovered a hidden camera. That camera wasn’t just recording the captives for Peter Blake’s entertainment. It was transmitting a signal directly to Alamania.

Jada immediately connected the dots. Who WOULDN’T connect the dots? If the camera feed was going to Alamania, that means Vivian was involved in Peter’s scheme from the beginning. And if Vivian was Peter’s accomplice, then her claim that Stefan conveniently died before any of this went down is awfully convenient, isn’t it?

Rafe and Jada even discussed the possibility that Stefan, Vivian, and Peter were all working together to split the DiMera inheritance three ways. The only wrench in that theory would be Stefan’s death. Unless, of course, he’s not actually dead and they’re all still scheming.

Stefan DiMera Has Already Been Resurrected Once

For anyone who needs a refresher on why Days of Our Lives fans refuse to accept any DiMera death at face value, let’s review Stefan’s resurrection history.

Stefan DiMera was shot in the neck by Lani Price in 2019 when he jumped in front of his mother Vivian to take the bullet meant for her. He was declared brain-dead, and Gabi reluctantly donated his heart to Julie Williams. Stefan was buried in Salem Cemetery. Dead as a doornail. Case closed.

Except Dr. Wilhelm Rolf had already retrieved Stefan’s body before cremation. The mad scientist kept Stefan’s corpse hooked up to machines with a device simulating a heart, just waiting for the right moment. When Stefan’s twin brother Jake was shot and killed in 2022, Rolf harvested Jake’s heart and transplanted it into Stefan’s preserved body. Stefan woke up like nothing happened.

So now we’re supposed to believe that Jake’s heart suddenly gave out and Stefan died again? And Vivian, who went through extreme measures to kidnap Stefan and keep him in Alamania, just let him die without calling Dr. Rolf? The same Dr. Rolf who is currently running experiments in EJ’s secret lab?

Gabi’s Heart Isn’t Buying It!

When Rafe broke the news to Gabi about Stefan’s death, her immediate reaction was disbelief. She told her brother that Peter and Vivian are both unreliable sources. More importantly, she said she would know in her heart if Stefan was truly gone.

Gabi may be dating Philip Kiriakis now, but she never stopped loving Stefan DiMera. Their relationship survived prison sentences, brainwashing schemes, and Li Shin’s manipulations. She had no idea that Vivian forced Stefan to sign those divorce papers against his will. Gabi thought Stefan abandoned her when he was actually drugged, tied up, and shipped off to Alamania.

If anyone deserves closure about Stefan’s fate, it’s Gabi. And the fact that she’s not fully convinced by a tombstone photo tells us everything we need to know.

NOBODY Stays Dead in Salem

The DiMera family has experienced more resurrections than a video game character with infinite lives. Stefano came back from the dead so many times they called him The Phoenix. EJ was shot and presumed dead, then brought back years later. Megan Hathaway was electrocuted in 1985 and resurrected decades later through cryogenics and magic prisms. Andre DiMera faked his death at least five times.

And Stefan himself already proved that death is just a temporary inconvenience when you have a mad scientist on retainer.

Until Rafe and Eli physically see Stefan’s body in Alamania and confirm his death with independent verification, fans have every right to be skeptical. Vivian Alamain’s word means absolutely nothing. A photo of a tombstone can be faked. And in Salem, nobody stays buried for long.
