In 1993, Vivian committed what might be soap opera’s most iconic crime. She buried Carly Manning alive in a coffin equipped with oxygen, lights, and a walkie-talkie so she could TAUNT her victim from above ground. That’s not just evil. That’s evil with interior decorating skills.

After the deed was done, the Days of Our Lives script called for Vivian to dance a jig on Carly’s grave. Sorel famously told producers that Vivian doesn’t jig. Instead, she improvised a haunting walk around the burial site, plucking flower petals while whispering “She loves me, she loves me not.” Ophelia could NEVER.
