A supposedly dead villain appeared on General Hospital, the legendary Vivian Alamain graces Salem with her presence on Days of Our Lives, The Bold and the Beautiful rolls out the celebrity guest stars, and one DAYS character has officially flatlined. Let’s get into it!
General Hospital
Excuse us while we pick our jaws up off the floor because Wes Ramsey popped up as Peter August on January 23 and we are NOT okay. The man is DEAD. We watched him DIE. And yet there he was, tormenting Anna Devane in her hallucinations like the nightmare ex-boyfriend energy he’s always given. Port Charles really said “death is just a suggestion.”
James Patrick Stuart is back as Valentin Cassadine this week. His kids are also getting screen time — Bluesy Burke as Charlotte Cassadine and Finn Carr as Rocco Falconeri. Wyndemere family drama incoming!
Stephen A. Smith returns as Brick on Monday for scenes with Tanisha Harper’s Jordan Ashford.
And the news we’ve ALL been waiting for: Kirsten Storms officially returns as Maxie Jones starting February 12!

Days of Our Lives
ALL HAIL THE QUEEN. Louise Sorel is bringing Vivian Alamain back to Salem this week, and we suggest everyone else simply get out of her way. When Vivian walks into a room, you either bow or you run. There is no third option.
Dan Feuerriegel resurfaces as EJ DiMera after being MIA — apparently even DiMeras need a vacation from all that scheming. Welcome back to the chaos, EJ!
The Kiriakis clan is assembling. Wally Kurth returns as Justin Kiriakis alongside Judi Evans as Bonnie Kiriakis. Tina Huang is also back as Melinda Trask for meetings with Billy Flynn’s Chad DiMera and Justin. Legal drama is brewing!
Also returning: Melissa Reeves as Jennifer Horton, Stacy Haiduk as Kristen DiMera, Richard Wharton as Dr. Wilhelm Rolf, Hank Northrop as Liam Selejko, and Alice Halsey as Rachel Black.
Now for the sad news: Days of Our Lives is bidding farewell to Dan Gauthier. His character Peter Blake was declared dead at the hospital this week. Salem giveth and Salem taketh away.
The Bold and the Beautiful
The Bold and the Beautiful went full Hollywood this week with their guest star lineup!
The iconic Morgan Fairchild is back! She first appeared in 2009 as Dottie, a Beverly Hills socialite friend of Stephanie Forrester. Now she’s returning for scenes with Steffy Forrester Finnegan and Electra Forrester.
Spencer Pratt returns as Rich. Yes, THAT Spencer Pratt. The crossover nobody asked for but we’re weirdly here for.
Also on screen: Jim J. Bullock as Joseph, Ariel D. King debuting as Harmony, Savannah Leigh James as Jamie, and Jade Coatsworth as Kingsley.
Bryan David Garlick is back as Hayes Finnegan, and Ashleigh Brewer continues to slay as Ivy Forrester.

Trouble is brewing in Genoa City!
Melissa Ordway is back as Abby Newman, which is perfect timing because her little family is about to face some serious drama. Devon Winters better buckle up!
Ray Wise continues to creep us all out as Ian Ward, taunting Mariah as she spirals. Camryn Grimes gets more airtime as Mariah Copeland this week, and based on those spoilers… yikes.
RECAST ALERT: Ethan Ray Park has taken over the role of Dominic Newman-Abbott-Winters-Chancellor, making his debut on January 23! The role was previously played by Ethan Ray Clark.
