Nikki Plays Matchmaker With Claire
We open at the ranch where Nikki notices her granddaughter glowing like a woman in love. Claire tries to play it cool, explaining that getting back together with Kyle is “complicated” because of trust issues. She was forced to choose herself. But Nikki isn’t buying the casual act.
When Claire mentions that little Harrison has been playing matchmaker, Nikki’s ears perk right up. She watches Claire’s face light up and knows exactly what she’s seeing. Claire admits she misses the good times with Kyle. Cue grandma wisdom.
Nikki shares her own love story. She and Victor are nothing alike, but they’re soulmates. They’ve found their way back to each other over and over through the years. Her advice to Claire? Follow your heart. It’s sweet. It’s tender. And it’s setting the stage for what comes later.

Adam Cracks Under Chelsea’s Interrogation
Over at Society, Adam Newman is trying very hard to keep Victor’s secret plan under wraps. Chelsea is not having it. She wants details. Adam insists the plan is secretive, that Victor isn’t even sharing it with Nikki. Red flag number one.
Chelsea assumes it’s unethical and illegal. She worries about Connor. Adam Newman swears he’d never let anything happen to their son, but confesses he isn’t even sure this plan is the right move. So why is he going along with it? Because it might work and they’re running out of options.
Chelsea reminds him they’re a team. She demands the truth. And Adam Newman, the man who was supposed to take this secret to his grave, folds like a cheap suit. Victor wants to use Lily Winters, Mattie, and Charlie as leverage. Chelsea is horrified. This sounds like kidnapping! Adam says Victor is getting impatient and they have less leverage as time passes. Chelsea hates to admit it, but the plan could actually work.
The Newmans Plot a “Polite” Abduction
Back at the ranch, Nikki is done being kept in the dark. Adam tries to hold the line. That’s Victor’s decision. But Chelsea isn’t about to let loyalty get in the way of efficiency. Adam can’t go against his father’s wishes? Fine. She can.
Adam begs her not to do this. Chelsea says they don’t have a choice. They need help to pull this off. So she tells Nikki everything. And Nikki’s response? After learning her husband wants to kidnap Lily and the twins, she calls Victor a genius. A GENIUS. She’s onboard.
But Nikki Newman has conditions. No forceful abductions. No risk to Lily or her family. If they’re doing this, they’re doing it with class. Her solution? Convince Lily to join willingly. Make her see that this will right Cane’s wrongs. Bring her into the plan instead of throwing her into a van.
It’s still manipulation. It’s still using a woman and her children as chess pieces. But it’s manipulation with manners, and that’s the Newman way.
Claire and Kyle Take the Feud Off the Table
At Crimson Lights, Claire and Kyle run into each other and immediately start laughing about Harrison’s matchmaking schemes. It’s cute. It’s flirty. It’s everything Nikki was just talking about.
Claire mentions there’s no update on the Newman takeover. Kyle tells her his family planned to destroy the AI software. She finds it sweet that he’s still looking out for the Newmans after everything. Kyle admits he’s looking after a few of them in particular. Smooth, Abbott.
Claire asks if part of him thinks the fall of Newman is just payback for Victor. Kyle respects how much Victor loves her, but they agree to disagree on the topic of the mustache. Then they make it official. The Newman/Abbott feud is off the table for them. Claire asks him to dinner. He accepts. Nikki’s soulmate speech is already working.
