That’s not a woman who made one mistake. That’s a pattern. That’s a lifestyle. That’s exactly who Portia Robinson is, and Trina is the only person brave enough to say it to her face.

When Trina said “that’s who you are, a liar,” she wasn’t being cruel. She was being accurate.

Spoilers Say Kai Explains Himself to Trina

According to spoilers for Thursday, February 5, “Kai explains himself to Trina.” We don’t know what Kai needs to explain, but we do know these two committed a crime together when they broke into Drew’s house and burned the evidence against Portia.

The irony? Trina risked her own freedom to protect her mother from Drew’s blackmail. She literally committed arson to save Portia’s career. And Portia still can’t stop lying.

If that doesn’t prove that Trina loves her mother despite everything, nothing will. But love doesn’t mean she has to forgive her. Love doesn’t mean she has to pretend everything is okay. Love doesn’t mean she has to watch her mother make the same destructive choices over and over again without saying something.

Trina Robinson deserves better than the mother she got. And she’s allowed to be angry about it.
