Josslyn Jacks Is Playing a Dangerous Game

Well, well, well. Our girl Josslyn Jacks just stumbled onto something that could blow this entire Faison mystery wide open — or get her killed trying.

While stranded at Wyndemere during the blizzard, Joss found herself playing chess with Cullum, who introduced himself as “Matthew the caretaker.” But Joss knows exactly who this man really is: Director Ross Cullum of the WSB’s European division, the same man who threatened Rocco and forced Britt Westbourne to relocate to Wyndemere to complete Faison’s mysterious “final project.”

When Cullum stepped away to check on storm damage, Joss did what any good (former) WSB agent would do — she rifled through his jacket. And what did she find? Faison’s novel. The same twisted manifesto of obsession that’s haunted Anna Devane for decades.

Cullum caught her, but Joss covered beautifully, playing innocent and asking about the book.

Here’s where it gets delicious: we know Anna is being held captive somewhere on this very island, listening to “Faison’s” voice over an intercom, being told they’ll spend the rest of their lives together. Peter even appeared to her in a vision, taunting her that his father “always wins.”

So why does Cullum have this book? Is it instructions? A blueprint? Is he using it to recreate Faison’s obsession down to the letter?

The Spoilers Say Josslyn Digs for Information

According to General Hospital spoilers for Wednesday, February 4, “Josslyn digs for information.” And honey, we have a feeling she’s going to dig herself right into those catacombs that Lucas wanted to explore before Marco shut him down.

Remember: Joss was the one who cut power to Spoon Island to help search Wyndemere. She knows there’s something sinister happening in those tunnels. Lucas mentioned wanting to explore the catacombs, and Marco’s reaction — “Absolutely not!” — told us everything we needed to know about what’s hidden down there.

Anna. Anna is hidden down there.

And now Joss has a direct connection between Cullum and Faison’s twisted legacy. The question is: what happens when she follows it?

Will Josslyn Become Faison’s Next Captive?

Here’s what keeps us up at night: Josslyn Jacks is brave, resourceful, and absolutely reckless when it comes to protecting the people she loves. She’s already been “deactivated” by Jack Brennan because Cullum poses a threat to her safety. She’s supposed to be laying low, staying invisible, going back to being just a PCU student.

But Joss has never been good at following orders.

If she follows the breadcrumbs and discovers Anna’s location, she’s walking into a trap set by someone who has already faked the deaths of both Britt and Nathan West. Someone who has Cullum, a high-ranking WSB official, doing his bidding. Someone who has been planning this reunion with Anna for years.

Josslyn Jacks might be about to become collateral damage in Faison’s twisted love story — or worse, leverage to keep Anna compliant.

And let’s not forget: Britt is “desperate” on Tuesday, February 3, and “pushes back” on Friday, February 6. Whatever this final project is, it’s coming to a head. And Joss might be walking straight into the crossfire.
