Remember those pills in Sophia’s drawer? The ones some people assumed were Chanel’s peppermints? They’re apparently Sophia’s psychiatric medication. Probably anti-psychotics, because look where she is right now: Bayview – a psychiatric hospital. Sophia probably stopped taking them, which explains why she’s been so unhinged and why the look in her eyes is so terrifying. It seems like she’s unraveled completely.

But here’s where it gets truly scary. Sophia Choi just emptied out Holly’s skincare medication and replaced the pills with her own dangerous drugs. On Thursday, as Holly was visiting Sophia – supposedly because Sophia told Dr. Gregory she wanted to apologize for her bad behavior – Sophia managed to knock Holly’s purse to the floor, spilling the contents.

And as she bent down to help Holly gather her things, she scooped up Holly’s pills and hid them. Once Holly left, Sophia emptied the skin care medication and replaced the contents with her own drugs. Now. all she needs to do is play the hero and say she “found” Holly’s meds on the floor of her room. Dr. Gregory will return them to Holly and Holly will happily start gobbling them down.

As Sophia said after out loud, “Once you start taking these pills, you won’t have a care in the world.” The look on her face? Positively chilling.

Sophia’s Plan Has Been in Motion Since the Episode Started

Thursday’s episode opened with Sophia Choi scrolling through Holly’s social media posts and happening upon a photo of Holly with Tate Black. Then, she said out loud that she hoped Holly would get an STI. So much for a touching reconciliation.

The entire visit was a setup from the beginning. Sophia pretended to bury the hatchet with Holly, apologizing through her fake silence via paper messages for trying to slap her during their last encounter. As Holly said goodbye, the two girls shook hands and Dr. Gregory looked delighted at the positive interaction. And Holly, sweet naive Holly, bought every word of it, too.

Sophia played this off beautifully, hiding under the umbrella of a blank stare that becomes more focused and sinister the moment she’s left alone to plan her next devious task.

This is how Sophia Choi operates. She’s learned to be patient. Strategic. And absolutely terrifying.

The show films about ten months in advance, which means whatever happens to Holly and Tate is already written. And given that Sophia has been plotting revenge against all four characters since she arrived at Bayview, the timing of these firings is suspicious.
