He planted a seed of guilt and self-doubt in Josslyn in his final moment, which is exactly what a man who planned to come back would do. You do not waste your dying words on someone you will never see again. You waste them on someone you fully intend to haunt.

His brother Martin Grey is still in Port Charles. His half-sister Laura Collins is still carrying the weight of everything Cyrus put her through. A man with that many loose threads does not simply disappear. He unravels slowly, on his own schedule, when nobody is paying attention. And right now, nobody is paying attention.

Cyrus Renault is a man who turned prison into a pulpit and a drug empire into a ministry. The idea that a bullet ended all of that permanently? Port Charles should know better by now. It always should have known better.
