JACK ABBOTT GIVES PATTY WILLIAMS EXACTLY WHAT SHE WANTED AND DIANE JENKINS SEES IT ALL

TL;DR: After days of being drugged, manipulated, and slowly worn down on a yacht in the middle of nowhere, Jack Abbott finally falls into Patty Williams’ trap on The Young and the Restless Friday, March 13 in Canada (airing in the USA on Monday, March 16). Diane Jenkins walks in on the aftermath and does not take it quietly. Meanwhile, Victor Newman and Nikki Newman hit a breaking point that neither of them may be able to walk back, and Nick Newman and Adam Newman pack their bags for Vegas with Matt Clark in their sights.

Patty Williams Finally Gets Her Man

Patty Williams has been working on Jack Abbott all week. She came with drinks. She came with food. She came with a whole redemption story he never quite believed. And night by night, alone on that yacht with no crew, no signal, and nowhere to swim to, Jack’s resistance has been crumbling in a way that does not feel entirely natural.

By Friday, it is over. Something is off with Jack physically. He wonders aloud if he has been drugged. Patty tells him he wasn’t. He is not entirely convinced, and frankly neither are we. What follows is the one thing Patty has been angling toward since the moment she stepped onto that boat: she gets Jack into bed.

She coos afterward that he was incredible. He immediately regrets every single second of it.

Diane Jenkins does not get the courtesy of not knowing. She, Kyle Abbott, and Billy Abbott have tracked Jack to the marina all week, bribed a manager, and finally found their way onto the right boat. They burst in and find exactly what they find.

Billy manages: “Oh wow. This is not what I expected.”

Diane manages a slap. Hard. Directly across Jack’s face.

Jack manages: “I don’t know how this happened.”

Diane manages: there is no explanation for a man being in bed with a psychopath. She is not wrong.

Victor Newman Pushes Nikki Newman Past the Point of No Return

Victor Newman has been stonewalling Nikki Newman all week. He kept her in the dark about Jack. He lied to her face. When she finally confronted him, he waved her off and told her Jack was fine. When she pushed harder, he told her he does not give a damn and ordered her out of the room.

By Friday, Nikki has had enough. She tells Victor plainly that what he did was heinous, spiteful, and cruel. She does not know if she can forgive him. Victor’s response is to yell that he does not give a damn and throw her out again.

There is a version of the Victor and Nikki story where they survive everything. This week has been testing exactly how much “everything” can hold.

Nick Newman and Adam Newman Head to Vegas

Nick Newman and Adam Newman are on their way to Las Vegas to find Reza Thompson, a woman from Adam’s past who may be the key to locating Matt Clark.

Adam knows this woman. He knows this world. He also knows what going back to it costs him, and he is going anyway. Back home, Chelsea Lawson makes him promise not to let old memories pull him back to a darker version of himself. Sharon Newman makes Nick promise to come back safe and in one piece.

Victor gives the mission his blessing. Nick wants no security team involved. He wants to handle this his way, quietly, and end Matt Clark’s reign of terror once and for all.

Neither woman sending her man out the door looks particularly reassured.

Cane Ashby Records a Goodbye He Will Never Send

Cane Ashby ends up alone in Phyllis’s empty office with a drink and nowhere to put his feelings. He records a video message for Lily. He talks about her smile. He talks about how badly he screwed things up. He tells her she deserves every happiness in the world, and that means he needs to stay out of her life for good.

Then he screams. Turns out the lights. Walks out.

He will not send the video. He knows it.

Do you think Diane Jenkins can forgive Jack Abbott after what she walked in on? And is Victor Newman finally going too far even for Nikki? Sound off below!
