Melissa Dylan showed up to her first week at Forrester Creations with nothing but gratitude and good intentions. She did not seek out this job. Steffy Forrester Finnegan offered it to her. She has no money. She had nowhere to go. She told Electra Forrester this to her face today, clearly and vulnerably, and Electra looked her in the eye and told her she should have said no a long time ago.

This is a girl who has been through everything. Luna. The beach house situation. The job offer that put her directly in the crossfire of someone else’s heartbreak. And she has handled all of it with more grace than this building deserves.

Today Electra Forrester called her a torturer. Today was the last day Dylan needed to be anybody’s ally.

The Showroom Confrontation Nobody Asked For

Let us be very clear about what happened in that showroom today because the details matter.

Dylan explained she did not seek out Will Spencer. She explained she did not seek out the job. She admitted the kiss happened but pointed out that Will and Electra were already broken up. She acknowledged the awkwardness. She apologized for the distance between them. She told Electra she has no money and no idea what her next move looks like and that she genuinely needs this job to survive.

Electra told her to leave Forrester and never come back.

Not a thank you for the honesty. Not an acknowledgment that Dylan just made herself completely vulnerable. Just a demand to disappear. From a girl who has a family name on the building, a supportive aunt running interference on her behalf, and a gorgeous designer already being pushed in her direction by said aunt before the breakup is even cold.

Electra Forrester does not know what it is like to not know how to pay for her next move. Dylan does. And the audacity of standing in your family’s showroom telling a woman with nothing to go back to nothing is the kind of thing that forfeits your right to sympathy. We said what we said.

Meanwhile Ivy Forrester Was Having a Completely Unhinged Tuesday

While Electra was busy torching her last bridge, Ivy Forrester was across the building telling RJ Forrester about his biceps and suggesting he use them to rescue Electra from Will Spencer. She begged him. She called Will a disaster. She said Electra was free and available and that RJ had more class than Will and understood right and wrong.

This from the woman hiding the letter that caused the entire breakup in the first place.

And then Ivy walked into the design office and said it out loud to Daphne Rose. She admitted she manipulated their lives. She said you bet I did. She said Will is a disaster and she will not allow him to ruin Electra’s life.

Dylan was standing at the door.

Dylan heard everything.

So Here Is Where We Are

Melissa Dylan now knows that Ivy Forrester deliberately kept Will and Electra apart. She knows the breakup was engineered. She knows Electra has been suffering because of her aunt’s interference and not because of anything Will actually did wrong.

She could walk into that showroom right now and hand Electra everything she needs to fix her relationship. She could be the hero of this entire story. She could prove that she is exactly the good person she has been claiming to be since the moment she arrived at this building.

She has absolutely no reason to do any of that.
