JENZ SIDWELL TURNED JORDAN’S ACCIDENT INTO A TRAP FOR SONNY

TL;DR: Jenz Sidwell showed up at General Hospital today pretending to be concerned about Jordan Ashford and walked out with a full frame job aimed directly at Sonny Corinthos. He told Justine the crash might have been an attempted murder. He pointed the finger at Sonny. And the most diabolical part is that Sidwell is the reason Jordan was in danger in the first place.

The Concerned Citizen Act

Jenz Sidwell walked into General Hospital today with the kind of quiet confidence that only comes from a man who already knows exactly how this conversation is going to end. He was there to check on Jordan Ashford, he said. He was worried about the crash, he said. He wanted answers.

Laura Collins was not buying a single syllable. She rushed over, backed him off Curtis Ashford, and urged him to show some compassion. She even tried appealing to his humanity, reminding him that tragedy forces you to see the good in others.

Jenz Sidwell does not see the good in others. Jenz Sidwell sees leverage.

The Setup Nobody Is Talking About

Here is where this gets truly sinister. Laura told Sidwell to leave Curtis alone. She redirected Justine Turner to go fill Sidwell in about the accident and keep him away from Curtis. And Jenz Sidwell took that opening and ran.

He asked Justine point blank if this was being treated as an attempted murder. Then he dropped the bomb: whoever targeted Jordan may have also murdered his son. And that person, he declared, is Sonny Corinthos.

He told Justine that Jordan was looking into Sonny for him. That the crash could have been an attempt to stop her investigation. He laid it all out like a man presenting a case he has already rehearsed, because he has. This was not grief. This was not concern. This was a chess move executed in a hospital hallway while a woman he put in danger was still in surgery.

The Part That Makes It Diabolical

Let us be very clear about what happened here. Jenz Sidwell is the one who forced Jordan to use her PCPD contacts to dig up information on Marco’s murder. He is the one who threatened her livelihood if she did not cooperate. He is the one who put her in the position of working for a dangerous man while maintaining a relationship with Curtis. Jordan was in that car tonight because Jenz Sidwell’s empire touches everything and everyone in Port Charles.

And now he is standing in front of the ADA suggesting that Sonny tried to have her killed.

Meanwhile, Sonny is across town telling Ric Lansing that Sidwell heard him loud and clear at the funeral and will target someone else. Jenz Sidwell is not targeting someone else. Jenz Sidwell is tightening the noose. He is using Jordan’s blood on the windshield to build a murder case against the man he has been trying to destroy for months.

Curtis told Laura this was a random accident. Twelve hours ago they were on top of the world. He has no idea that the man who just walked through that hospital is the most dangerous person in the building and he is not even a patient.

Jenz Sidwell is using Jordan’s crash to frame Sonny and nobody in Port Charles sees the full picture yet. Do you think Justine buys it? And what happens when Curtis finds out Jordan was working for Sidwell? Sound off below!

@soapoperamag Brook Lynn Drank, Brook Lynn Drove, But Did She Cause the Accident? I don't think so! Sure, I think she was in the area. And, yes, I think she's going to be set up to take the fall, but I don't think she's actually at fault. I think she's going to be the perfect scapegoat for Sidwell! #GH #GeneralHospital โ™ฌ original sound – Soap Opera Magazine
