Let us be clear about something. Victor Newman showing up for Nick is not a surprise. It is not a concession. It is not an olive branch extended toward Nikki. It is a father doing what Victor Newman has always done, which is deciding that his children are worth showing up for, regardless of what else is happening in his life.
