TL;DR: On Monday’s General Hospital, Laura Collins relishes her victory over Sidwell, Joss’ days may be numbered after Sidwell catches her mid-escape, Kristina issues a request, Curtis seeks Alexis’ help after his felony assault charge, and Kai worries about Trina. Port Charles is bruised, embattled, and nowhere near finished.

Laura Collins Relishes Her Victory

Laura Collins and Sonny Corinthos burned the photographs and the negatives in that warehouse, and the evidence Sidwell had been holding over Laura’s head went up in smoke. Pascal is on a plane. The blackmail is gone. Laura Collins has her life back.

Relishing that victory on Monday is earned. She walked into this knowing Sidwell was dangerous and calculating, knowing Sonny was a complicated ally, and knowing that one wrong move would cost her everything she had rebuilt since returning to Port Charles. She made every right move. The political machine she has spent years building is still intact, and Sidwell does not know yet that the walls are closing in on him from every direction.

Laura Collins savoring a win is one of Port Charles’ great pleasures. But she said it herself — this is not over. Sidwell is still free, still deadly, and still has Joss. The celebration comes with a clock ticking underneath it.

Joss’ Days May Be Numbered

Josslyn Jacks crossed those wires, cut the power to Wyndemere, busted the electronic lock, and made it all the way to the front door. Sidwell was standing on the other side with a gun.

He caught her. He told her she was only alive because her Corinthos-Jacks connections had been deemed useful. That calculation can change the second it stops being true, and on Monday her days may be numbered. Cassius stepped in front of Sidwell’s gun once and bought her more time. Whether he does it again is the question Joss is living inside right now.

Kristina Issues a Request

Kristina Corinthos-Davis got into UCLA medical school, told Molly she is not going, told Michael she absolutely is going, and has been sitting with what that decision means ever since the accident that reshaped everything she thought she wanted. Monday she issues a request, and whatever she asks for and whoever she asks it of, it is coming from a woman who finally knows what she wants and is moving toward it.

Curtis Seeks Alexis’ Help

Curtis Ashford has a felony assault and battery charge sitting on top of everything else. He punched Isaiah because Isaiah told him he would be a better father to his child than Curtis, and now a decorated man is facing criminal charges while the surgeon he is convinced left him and Jordan on the side of a road walks free. Monday he seeks Alexis Davis, and the sharpest legal mind in Port Charles is exactly what a man in his position needs right now.

Kai Worries About Trina

Kai Taylor has watched Trina Robinson hold herself together through Portia and Curtis tearing each other apart, Derek’s surgery being postponed, and a showcase that cannot wait for anyone’s family drama to resolve itself. Monday Kai worries, and a Kai who is worried about Trina is one more pressure point in a situation that already has too many.
