Beyond the Gates: A Y&R Crossover Event Takes Over Fairmont Crest
The biggest event of the week lands on Beyond the Gates, where Eric Braeden leads a group of Young and the Restlessstars crossing over to the Fairmont Crest canvas.
Peter Bergman, Susan Walters, Michael Mealor, Bryton James, and Melissa Ordway all appear throughout the week, mixing and mingling with the BTG cast.
Beyond the Gates recurring players also feature prominently during a week packed with major story developments. A multi-actor soap crossover at this scale does not happen often, and the ripple effects are going to play out across both canvases for weeks. This is one of those rare weeks where two shows are functionally operating on the same canvas.

General Hospital: Two Legends Are Back Filming, an Exit, and Major Casting News
Over on General Hospital, two of the soap’s biggest names are officially back at work. Steve Burton and Finola Hugheshave begun filming new scenes as Jason Morgan and Anna Devane.
Burton was last seen on March 25 and is officially returning to the canvas in June 2026. Both actors are set to appear onscreen again in the coming weeks, which means a major Port Charles chapter is quietly being shot right now.
On the exit front, Kate Mansi is heading out of Port Charles. The actress wraps her run as Kristina Corinthos-Davis in June 2026 after declining to renew her contract.
Marc Forget has also said his goodbyes as Sidwell’s cryptic butler Pascal. His final episode aired on Thursday, June 4.
Port Charles is also handing out two major casting announcements. Dean Geyer is officially set to debut as Tristan Roberts, a brand new contract character whose name is a deliberate tribute to the late Tristan Rogers.
Geyer’s first episode airs on July 13. Kayden Brenna Tokarski is also the new Scout Cain, with the recurring role recast and aged up. Tokarski takes over from Cosette Abinante in July.
Young and the Restless: Shemar Moore Walks Back Into Genoa City
Over on Y&R, Shemar Moore is officially back as Malcolm Winters during the week of June 8.
The character recently underwent a bone marrow transplant, and his return to Genoa City is the kind of homecoming the Winters family has been waiting on for months.
The Romalotti family also has a major week. Michael Damian and Lauralee Bell reprise their roles as Danny Romalottiand Christine Blair Romalotti.
One of Y&R’s most beloved couples is officially back on the canvas together. Any week the Romalottis show up is automatically a week worth watching, and the love story behind these two has decades of history attached to it.
Bold and the Beautiful: Fanny Is Back and So Are the Logan Models
Bold and the Beautiful has a quieter but quietly stacked lineup. Elsa Esnoult reprises her role as Fanny Greyson for the first time since January 2025, returning to Los Angeles for a fresh chapter.
Christopher Cato also makes another appearance as Alex.
And several familiar Logan models are back on the runway. Marketa Lim, Elena Moseikina, and Wendy Juelcollectively bring the Logan brand back to life this week.
Days of Our Lives: A Family Outing and a Salem Doctor Returns
Days of Our Lives rounds out the week with a series of warm returns. Thomas DiMera and Charlotte DiMera are back on the Salem scene as Alexander Elijah Bond and Autumn Gendron resurface in the recurring roles.
The DiMera kids head out for a family outing with their dad Chad and Belle Black, which is exactly the kind of sweet daytime moment fans live for.
Dr. Wilhelm Rolf is also back in the mix. Richard Wharton makes another appearance as the iconic Salem scientist, and the doctor turns his attention to Lexie Carver this week in a storyline beat that has been building for a while.
And Tina Huang reprises her role as Melinda Trask, putting one of the sharpest legal voices in Salem back in the action.
