Caught Red-Handed and Red-Faced

Oh, this is going to be good. The Bold and the Beautiful drops us straight into Taylor Hayes wrapped up in a very cozy moment with Deacon Sharpe in her office, and then the door opens. Taylor leaps out of his arms screaming like she has been caught doing something unspeakable, which, depending on who just walked in, she absolutely has.

The What’s Next video keeps the intruder’s identity a delicious mystery, and that is exactly the kind of cliffhanger that ruins our weekend in the best way. Who has the power to make Taylor Hayes shriek and spring three feet across the room? A patient? A Forrester? Someone with a personal stake in who Deacon is kissing these days? Sheila coming to get her revenge?!

Taylor Hayes is usually the picture of composure, so whoever cracked that armor is someone she desperately did not want clocking this little romance. We have thoughts about every possible suspect, and not one of them spells anything but trouble.

Bill Spencer Wants His Pound of Flesh

Over at Spencer, Shauna Fulton thinks she is close to sealing something sweet. “So, do we have a deal?” she asks. But Bill Spencer is not a man who hands out favors for free, and he stops her cold. “Not so fast. I’m gonna need something from Wyatt.”

Now this is rich. Shauna has been shopping a rudderless Wyatt around town, trying to land him a soft place to fall, and suddenly his own father is using him as the bargaining chip. What does Dollar Bill want from his son badly enough to dangle Shauna’s deal over it?

Whatever Shauna is angling for, Bill clearly senses she needs it more than he does, and that gives him all the leverage. When a Spencer smells desperation, he squeezes, and Shauna may have walked into this office holding a much weaker hand than she realized.

Steffy Forrester Connects the Dots

Meanwhile, at Forrester Creations, the queen of couture is starting to itch. “I’m starting to wonder if something is going on with Hope that she doesn’t want us to know about,” Steffy Forrester tells Brooke Logan, and oh, Steffy, you have no idea.

Here is the part that makes us cackle: Hope is secretly the brains behind Logan’s mysterious new line, the exact operation Katie has been guarding like a state secret. Steffy is sniffing right at the edge of a bombshell, and Brooke is caught squarely in the middle, because that is her daughter Steffy is circling.

The second Steffy puts the pieces together, the fragile truce at Forrester goes up in flames. The only question is whether she finds out from a slip, a spy, or Hope’s own smug little smirk from behind a dressing screen.
