The Bold and the Beautiful
Holy Awkward Hug Award! B&B’s Hope Logan Lingered Everyone’s Arms at Forrester Creations While Logan Designs Waited for an Answer
Hope Logan got HFTF back, Brooke walked in with happy tears, and Logan Designs is across town waiting for an answer Hope cannot seem to give.
HOPE LOGAN GOT EVERYTHING SHE WANTED AND IS NOW FIDGETING IN THE MIDDLE OF THE BIGGEST DECISION OF HER LIFE
TL;DR: Steffy Forrester offered Hope Logan her line back on The Bold and the Beautiful, Brooke walked in crying happy tears, and Hope stood there smiling awkwardly while Logan Designs waited across town for an answer that has not come. She is one hug away from blowing everything. The question is which life she is actually choosing.
The Hug That Should Not Be Happening
Hope Logan walked into Steffy’s office not knowing what she was walking into. She asked Steffy directly if she really wanted HFTF back in production. Steffy looked at her and said yes. And before Hope could process that, Brooke Logan walked through the door.
What followed was the most uncomfortable series of hugs in Los Angeles fashion history. Brooke went on about how long they had been waiting for this moment. She said Hope was back where she belonged. She cooed. She beamed. She hugged her daughter again. And Hope stood there forcing smiles while Steffy Forrester watched from across the room with the particular smirk of a woman who knows she has created a situation that cannot be easily unwound.
Brooke urged Hope to go tell Liam Spencer. Hope laughed that she should. Steffy told her the next line would be the talk of the industry. And then Steffy pulled Hope into her chest and hugged her again, abrasively, which is the most Steffy Forrester thing that has ever happened on this canvas.

The People Across Town Are Not Doing Well
While Brooke was crying happy tears at Forrester Creations, Katie Logan was wondering if Steffy had seen something that tipped her off. Liam was convinced his wife had been gone too long and wanted to call her. Bill ordered him not to because a call would only make Steffy suspicious. They sat in the Logan Designs office pacing and panicking and doing the math on what it means if the secret is out.
Katie admitted that her victory in this fashion war may cost more than she anticipated. That is a remarkable sentence from a woman who has been all in on this plan from the beginning. Bill assured her they would find their way through it. He said they were at war and he intended to win.
And then Hope Logan walked through the door and told them Steffy did not know. She called her over to apologize. She offered HFTF back. And Brooke showed up and went on about how proud she was.
Liam asked if Hope Logan was having second thoughts. She fidgeted. She doddered. She did not answer the question.
What Hope Is Actually Choosing Between
Here is the thing about this moment that nobody in either office is saying out loud. Hope Logan now has two real options and they are not equally weighted. Option one: she goes back to Forrester Creations, relaunches HFTF, makes her mother happy, and walks away from Logan Designs before it ever launches. She keeps her family intact and hands the Forresters a win they will never let her forget.
Option two: she stays at Logan Designs, lets the fashion war play out, and eventually tells her mother the truth about where she has been spending her leave of absence. Brooke said she could never disappoint her. Brooke has not heard the full story yet.
Steffy Forrester smirked through every hug in that office today. She either knows exactly what she is doing to Hope or she is accidentally doing it anyway, which is somehow worse. She had been waiting months for someone at Forrester to take her seriously. Steffy finally did. And now Hope is standing in the wreckage of her own perfect timing trying to figure out which version of herself she actually wants to be.
The fidgeting is not a good sign for Logan Designs.
