She has no clue that Hope already signed a contract with Logan and has only been calling it a leave of absence to buy herself time. Steffy Forrester recently offered Hope her old job back plus a full relaunch of the line, and that generous offer is the exact thing now squeezing Hope into a corner.

So when Brooke pops the metaphorical champagne, Hope has to keep lying straight to her own mother’s face. It is the kind of moral mess this show absolutely lives for. Hope is not bailing on Katie the way Eric Forrester did when he got cold feet and ran back to Forrester Creations earlier this year. She is in deep with Logan, and the longer she keeps Brooke in the dark, the harder the eventual blowup is going to land on everyone.

WHAT IS NEXT FOR WYATT SPENCER AND THE LOGAN JEWELRY LINE

Could this mean Wyatt Spencer is about to pull off the impossible and produce the real diamond just to earn his father’s approval? Don’t be surprised if that gem becomes the summer’s biggest bargaining chip. If we know these writers, the stone is going to change hands more than once before the season is over.
