She admitted she left Finn standing in Monaco after their reunion at the chapel turned into a beachside ambush courtesy of Sheila Carter. Steffy couldn’t go home and face her mother and kids looking the way she looked, and she couldn’t close her eyes without seeing Sheila’s face staring back. She’s convinced her husband keeps choosing “the problem” over her, and she needs to protect her kids from Sheila whether Finn helps her do it or not. Carter had his own gutted heart to nurse, since Daphne Rose had handed back her ring and boarded a plane to Paris rather than keep living a life that reminded her she couldn’t give him a child. Two ringless hands, one bottle of wine, and by the time Steffy admitted she needs someone to protect her, Carter pulled her into his arms, sax music swelling right on cue.

Ridge Forrester Loses It on Finn in Monaco
