FATHER KNOWS BEST! B&B’s Ridge Forrester Tears Into Finn Over Sheila Carter’s Monaco Meltdown
Ridge Forrester finally loses it with Finn over Sheila Carter’s Monaco ambush, and he’s not backing down until Steffy’s marriage is saved.
RIDGE FORRESTER ISSUES FINN AN ULTIMATUM: FIX YOUR MARRIAGE OR LOSE STEFFY FORRESTER FOR GOOD
Ridge Forrester unloads on Finn in Monaco after Sheila Carter‘s stunt costs him his wife’s trust, and Steffy Forrester is already gone. On The Bold and the Beautiful, the patriarch isn’t mincing words: fix it, or lose her forever.
Ridge Reads Finn The Riot Act
Back in their Monaco hotel suite, Ridge Forrester lets Finn have it the second Brooke shuts the door behind them. He’d promised to keep Sheila Carter away from Steffy, and instead she flew across an ocean and ambushed her on the beach in broad daylight. Finn tries to explain that he couldn’t physically remove Sheila from a moving plane, which lands about as well as you’d expect it to. Ridge isn’t interested in logistics or excuses. He’s interested in results, and right now, the only person walking away from this trip happy is Sheila.
The lecture doesn’t stop there. Ridge and Brooke Logan pile on together, and Finn keeps offering excuses that only dig him in deeper with every word. He admits he was trying not to hurt his wife, as if that reasoning has ever once worked out well on this show. Pulling both wedding rings from his pocket, Finn confesses that Steffy handed them back before she boarded a plane alone. “You’re in trouble, son,” Ridge groans, and for once, nobody in the room bothers disagreeing with him.

The Blind Spot
Ridge Forrester isn’t only angry about the trip going sideways. He’s frustrated in a way that feels deeply personal, because he’s watched this exact blindness play out before in his own family. Eric Forrester spent years unable to see Sheila for what she really is, chasing forgiveness for a woman who never earned it. It nearly cost him everyone he loved before he finally woke up and cut her loose for good, and Ridge tells Finn flat out that he’s inherited that same blind spot.
The comparison lands harder than Ridge probably intends it to. If it took Eric decades of chaos and heartbreak to finally see Sheila clearly, what does that mean for Finn’s timeline right now? Ridge doesn’t have years to spare on this lesson; he has however long it takes for Finn to catch a flight home and convince his wife not to give up on their marriage entirely. Whether that painful family history repeats itself or finally breaks the pattern is the real question hanging over this whole Monaco disaster.
A Wife He Doesn’t Even Know He’s Losing
While Ridge is laying into him at the hotel, Finn has no idea how close to losing everything he actually is. He assumes his wife simply went back to Los Angeles to cool off and clear her head, which is technically true but leaves out the part that matters most. Steffy Forrester isn’t home alone processing any of this quietly. She’s at Forrester Creations with a drink in hand, pouring her heart out to Carter Walton, who happens to be nursing his own fresh heartbreak after Daphne left for Paris.
Neither man in Monaco has any idea what’s happening back in Los Angeles right now, and that gap is exactly the kind of thing this show loves to exploit for maximum drama. Ridge Forrester keeps pushing Finn to fix things immediately, completely unaware that the clock may already be running out on him. It isn’t dramatic irony if nobody in the room notices it, and right now, everybody watching at home absolutely notices it.
The Clock Is Ticking
Ridge sends Finn straight to the airport with one job and one job only: convince his wife that he’s still worth trusting after everything that’s happened. Whether Finn can actually pull that off before Steffy does something she can’t take back is anyone’s guess at this point, especially with Sheila still lurking somewhere in the background of this story. One thing feels certain watching all of this unfold. Ridge Forrester isn’t going to let this slide quietly, and neither, unfortunately, is Sheila.

When Tough Love Isn’t Enough
Ridge Forrester finally said what everyone’s been thinking for weeks: Finn has a Sheila problem, and it’s costing him his marriage. Whether tough love from his father-in-law is enough to turn things around remains to be seen, especially with Steffy already an ocean away and drowning her sorrows elsewhere.
