VICTOR NEWMAN VOWS TO CRUSH BILLY ABBOTT’S TAKEOVER

TL;DR: Victor Newman declares war the second he learns Billy Abbott is coming for Chancellor Industries. Meanwhile, Chelsea Lawson can’t get Billy to talk, Lily Winters tries to buy her way out of the fight, and Nick Newman opens up to Sharon from rehab.

Victor Newman Declares War on Billy Abbott

At the ranch, Cane Ashby drops by to warn Victor Newman that Billy Abbott is coming for Chancellor again, and this time he might actually have the law on his side. Victor calls over Adam Newman, who admits he’s already heard rumblings about the whole mess, and Cane fills them both in on everything Billy has claimed. Victor refuses to let “Billy boy Abbott” put his hands on Katherine’s company and orders Adam to burn Billy’s reputation down to nothing.

Victor Newman doesn’t wait long to confront his target in person. At the Club, he corners Billy Abbott and warns he’ll destroy him before he ever hands over Chancellor, and Billy fires back that he simply wishes he’d caught this information sooner. Victor calls him a clown on his way out, and Billy turns right around to gloat to Lily Winters and Cane about how much he’s enjoying this.

Chelsea Lawson Can’t Crack Billy

At Crimson Lights, Chelsea Lawson congratulates Billy on his baby news before asking if he’s really going after Chancellor again. He won’t confirm anything, certain she’ll run straight to Adam with it, though he swears the story is a banger. Chelsea insists that if he wants any control over the narrative, he needs her on his side, but he refuses and walks out.

Back at the ranch, Chelsea corners Adam Newman instead, and he reveals Cane isn’t his only source. He has someone else ready to talk, and Cane has already agreed to hand over what he knows. Chelsea gripes that Victor is already poisoning the story before this stretch of Young and the Restless spoilers even breaks wide open.

Lily Winters Tries to Buy Her Way Out

At Jabot, Lily Winters meets Jack Abbott and confirms the financial records back up Billy’s claim, with no sign the original loan is ever repaid. She offers to pay it back with interest and wipe the slate clean before things spiral further.

Jack won’t commit to anything right away and reminds her this fight is about family, not a company. Kyle Abbott walks in as Lily leaves, and Jack warns his son that if he takes her deal, Billy will never forgive him for it.

Nick Newman Opens Up From Rehab

At the facility, Sharon Newman visits Nick Newman, who admits he isn’t ready to see anyone else yet. She reminds him he doesn’t have to sit with every emotion alone, and he thanks her for always cutting him a break.

He’s furious to learn Matt Clark showed up at her door again, insisting he still wants nothing to do with him once he’s out. Sharon gently pushes back, reminding Nick he isn’t superhuman and can’t fix everyone’s problems for them. Before she leaves, he floats a trip to California with the kids once he’s out, and she tells him it sounds perfect.
