Billy insists Lily is simply cornered, since her brother Devon Hamilton-Winters (Bryton James) is stepping away from Winters and her cousin Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) is eyeing the exit too. Sally fires back that Cane runs Chancellor, and that Lily could be comparing notes with Billy’s mother Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) or even Amber Moore (Adrienne Frantz), Cane’s old flame who wrote Katherine Chancellor‘s autobiography. Her warning is blunt: this feels like a trap. Billy just grins and says he has a plan.

Phyllis storms out vowing to find Matt Clark herself, and my gut tells me she should start searching wherever Victor keeps his enemies on ice. Don’t be surprised if the Mustache has Matt tucked behind locked doors and soft walls somewhere. Circulating spoiler chatter leans exactly that way, and Victor did not deny knowing where Matt is. He only denied poaching him.

Half a world away, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) land in Tahiti to find no suite, no ocean view, no restaurant, and no bar. Jack could not care less. Everything we need is right here in this room, he tells his wife, and after a scandalous skinny dip she agrees. The mood turns tender when Jack admits he will regret what happened with Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk) until his dying day, and Diane finally confesses that her past always made her feel unworthy of him. After a stabbing, a frame-up, and a poisoning, these two have earned one honest week of sunshine.
