Nina Reeves Gets Hauled Into WSB Custody While Drew Cain Toasts Himself for a Job Well Done

After spending the night behind bars, Nina Reeves insisted to Agent Baines that she had nothing to do with Jack’s disappearance. Ric Lansing arrived to represent his client right as Baines produced Jack’s wallet, claiming it had turned up under the seat of Nina’s car. Baines announced he had more than enough to extradite her on the spot, and when Nina lost her composure and started mouthing off, he told Ric to get his client under control before heading off to inform Dante Falconeri that Nina was being shipped to a WSB facility.

Left alone with Ric, Nina cried that she was being set up but couldn’t produce a single name when he pressed her for a suspect. Baines returned to deliver the news that WSB custody was happening immediately.

Meanwhile, Ava Jerome marched straight into Drew Cain‘s house demanding to know why he’d let Nina take the fall. Drew tried denial first, but folded fast, confessing he’d hidden the wallet in Nina’s car himself. He laid out everything Nina and Willow Tait had supposedly done to him, hoping Ava would see the frame job as reasonable instead of monstrous. Ava wasn’t buying it, insisting her friend wouldn’t go that far, until Drew reminded her of Nina’s track record, namely the time she paralyzed Ava to force labor and make off with baby Avery. Ava still couldn’t stomach that Drew would throw Nina under the bus to save himself, but Drew framed it (pun very much intended) as an insurance policy, one meant to keep both their roles in Jack’s death buried and their kids out of the fallout. Rattled, Ava stormed off, arriving at the police station just in time to watch her hysterical friend get hauled off by agents.

Once alone earlier, Drew had allowed himself a private victory lap, recalling the day Nina shoved his wheelchair into a lake, and promising, with a smirk that should worry the whole town, that her daughter was next.

Justine Turner Picks Ambition Over a Beach Chair With Sonny Corinthos

Sonny Corinthos asked Justine Turner to meet him privately at the studio to get her read on Nina’s arrest the night before. Justine explained her hands were tied since the WSB had sole discretion over how Nina’s case would be prosecuted. She also broke the news that she couldn’t join Sonny on the trip they’d been planning, not with Robert Scorpio stepping down as D.A. and Justine eyeing the seat for herself, a career gamble General Hospital fans will want to watch play out over the next two weeks. Sonny was disappointed but understanding, and left the vacation offer open in case she changed her mind.

Carly Spencer Can’t Stop Meddling, and It Might Cost Josslyn Jacks Everything

Over breakfast, Carly Spencer admitted to Josslyn Jacks that she was terrified her daughter might end up like Anna Devane. Josslyn deflected, saying she didn’t know what her future with the WSB looked like since she was technically on leave, but Carly wasn’t fooled, snapping that Jack had told her running JJE was Josslyn’s real assignment. Josslyn panicked, warning her mother that nobody could find out.

The conversation shifted to Jack’s disappearance, and Carly revealed she’d already been questioned by Agent Baines and had pointed the finger squarely at Nina, theorizing the bureau must have uncovered something incriminating for Baines to move that fast on an arrest. Josslyn begged her mother to stay out of WSB business entirely and let her handle it, worried Carly’s meddling would put her in the bureau’s crosshairs too.

Brook Lynn Quartermaine Tries to Make Amends and Somehow Starts Three New Fights

At Pentonville, Trina Robinson visited Curtis Ashford to talk through Brook Lynn Quartermaine‘s confession about the crash and how the fallout had torn their family apart. Trina revealed she’d already fired Brook Lynn as her manager, but Curtis urged his daughter not to abandon her music career over what happened to him. Before guards pulled him back to his cell, Curtis promised he’d stay laser focused on making parole so he could come home, and warned Trina not to trust anything the Quartermaines might offer in the name of damage control.

At the Metro Court Gardens, Brook Lynn confronted Lucy Coe for reneging on their deal and demanded her Deception stock back. Lucy refused, insisting Brook Lynn’s own lies were to blame for the mess she was now in. Serena Baldwinwalked in mid-argument and tried to smooth things over with the company’s rebrand looming, but Brook Lynn stormed out, snapping that talking to Lucy had wasted time she could have spent apologizing to the people she’d actually hurt.

Once Brook Lynn was gone, Lucy reminded Serena that she still wanted total control of Deception and was counting on Serena to convince Michael Corinthos to sign over Maxie Jones‘s shares. Upstairs, Michael had been complimenting Jordan Ashford on how well she’d been running things as CEO when Brook Lynn walked in wanting to speak with her privately. Michael gave them space and joined Lucy and Serena downstairs, and when Serena tried to pitch new products to him, a scheming Lucy suggested they discuss it instead over dinner at Café Cherie.

In Jordan’s office, Brook Lynn apologized for staying silent after the crash and letting Jordan and Curtis absorb the consequences. Jordan, gracious despite everything, pointed out that she was the one who’d taken her eyes off the road that night, and that Curtis was responsible for his own choices. She encouraged Brook Lynn to focus on rebuilding her own life, hinting that if Brook Lynn really wanted to make things right, there might be a way to help Curtis specifically.
