TAYLOR HAYES SMELLS A SECRET AND FINN IS ABOUT TO FEED HER CLUES

TL;DR: Finn turns to Taylor Hayes for support on Friday, September 18, one day after Steffy told her mother she cannot say what happened. Steffy is also caught off guard. No paternity test has aired.

Finn Carries His Worry to the One Woman Already Suspicious

Bold and the Beautiful spoilers September 18 send a worried husband straight to the one woman already counting the cracks. John “Finn” Finnegan turns to Taylor Hayes for support on Friday, and Steffy Forrester is caught off guard the same day. Those are the two scheduled beats, and they collide on purpose.

Thursday set the table. Taylor pressed her daughter about what has been eating her, and Steffy shut the door with seven words: “Mom, I can’t tell you what happened.” That line confirms something did happen. A psychiatrist does not need a second clue.

Finn has no idea what he is walking into. On Monday he told his adoptive mother Li that Sheila Carter is out of their lives for good, and he passed on a research project to put family first. He believes the Monaco mess is behind them. So when his wife keeps flinching, he takes his worry to his mother-in-law.

Finn is missing the worst of it. Steffy woke up beside Carter Walton on the Forrester office couch on August 18, after one drunken night. She took two pregnancy tests last week, and on Monday she told Carter the baby is his, with zero chance it is her husband’s. No paternity test has aired, so that is her word and nothing more. The full week of twists has been building to this.

Carter Keeps Pushing and Steffy Keeps Breaking

The pressure on Steffy is coming from every side. On Wednesday Carter begged her to pose as the egg donor and surrogate for his wife, Daphne Rose Walton, and she said no. On Thursday Daphne refused to even take the idea to her friend, so Carter went back and begged again. He wants Steffy to hand over a baby she already calls her own to save his marriage.

That is the state Steffy is in when Friday blindsides her. The official rundown does not say who or what does it. Circulating spoiler chatter points at Daphne arriving with a change of heart, but nothing confirms that, so treat it as a guess. My gut tells me the show wants Steffy cornered from two directions at once. We called Taylor Hayes the first person likely to catch this secret last week, and the schedule keeps agreeing.

What Does Taylor Know About Steffy’s Secret on Bold and the Beautiful?

Right now Taylor knows only that something happened and that her daughter will not say what. Nothing in the confirmed Friday rundown puts the truth about Carter or the pregnancy in her hands. What Friday gives Taylor Hayes is a second witness. Finn can describe what he is seeing at home, and Taylor can match it to the panic she saw on Thursday.

Now the connection nobody else is making. Taylor has lived a donor egg disaster from the inside. In 2007 she carried a baby boy, Jack, with Nick, then learned a donor egg mix-up meant the egg belonged to Brooke Logan. She knows exactly what it costs a woman to carry a child wrapped in someone else’s paperwork. If Carter’s surrogate story ever reaches her ears, don’t be surprised if she hears the lie before he finishes the sentence.

Ridge, a Relapse Whisper, and the War Next Door

Taylor is not keeping her worry to herself. Preview chatter has her telling Ridge Forrester that something is off with their daughter. The whisper going around is that she may fear a relapse, given Steffy’s 2020 battle with painkillers. That is pure speculation and nothing on screen supports it. Still, a mother hunting for the wrong secret has a way of tripping over the right one.

One more fire is burning off Friday’s official rundown. Will Spencer chose Melissa “Miss” Dylan on September 4, and his mother, Katie Logan Spencer, has not accepted it. She pushed Electra Forrester to take Will back last Friday and got a flat no. Eric Forrester has already told Electra, his grand-niece, that her future at the company comes with one condition: no Will. Between that war and the one Taylor Hayes is about to walk into, nobody in this town is sleeping well.

Steffy’s Silence Is the Loudest Confession in Los Angeles

Here is my take. Steffy telling her mother she cannot talk about it was the worst possible answer, because it is an honest one. A flat lie might have bought her a week. Instead she handed a trained psychiatrist a locked door and walked away. Finn arriving on Friday with his own worries just gives Taylor the key ring.

So pick your side. Either Taylor protects her daughter and sits on whatever she learns, or she decides Finn has been lied to long enough. I say she cracks it within two weeks and goes to Steffy first, not Finn. Tell me I am wrong on our Facebook page, where the fight has already started.

QUICK ANSWERS

Who is the father of Steffy’s baby on Bold and the Beautiful? Steffy told Carter Walton on the September 14 episode that the baby is his, saying there is zero chance it is Finn’s because she and Finn had not been intimate before the Monaco trip. No paternity test has aired, so the claim rests entirely on Steffy’s own account of the timing.

What happens on Bold and the Beautiful on Friday, September 18, 2026? Two beats are scheduled for Friday, September 18. Steffy Forrester is caught off guard, and John “Finn” Finnegan turns to his mother-in-law, Taylor Hayes, for support. The episode follows Thursday’s scenes, in which Steffy told Taylor she could not say what happened and Carter Walton kept pressing his surrogate plan.

Did Taylor Hayes ever carry a baby from a donor egg? Yes. In 2007 Taylor carried Jack Marone, fathered by Nick Marone. A donor egg mix-up caused by Bridget Forrester meant the egg was actually Brooke Logan’s, making Brooke the biological mother while Taylor carried and legally mothers Jack. That history gives Taylor a personal stake in any surrogate or donor egg story.
