EXCLUSIVE MONDAY CANADIAN Y&R DAY AHEAD: Nikki Newman’s Business Visit Blows Up Diane Jenkins’s Marriage
This Y&R Canadian Day Ahead catches Nikki rattling Jack and Diane’s marriage, Sally recruiting Chelsea, and Kyle and Victoria heating up.
NIKKI NEWMAN HAS DIANE JENKINS CONVINCED THERE’S SOMETHING GOING ON WITH JACK
TL;DR: This Y&R Canadian Day Ahead catches Nikki Newman dropping by the Abbott estate to talk business and sending Diane Jenkins spiraling about her marriage, right before Sally Spectra asks Chelsea Lawson to be a bridesmaid and gets a yes, Adam Newman and Billy Abbott trading barbs over who’s actually invited to that wedding, and Kyle Abbott and Victoria Newman getting a little too comfortable arranging their “in-person” business meetings.

Nikki Newman Walks Into Jabot Territory And Diane Jenkins Loses Her Mind A Little
Jack Abbott is still waiting on word about Patty Williams when Nikki Newman shows up at the Abbott estate with a business proposition in hand, and if Diane Jenkins had any hope of a quiet day, that hope just walked out the door with the mailman. Nikki’s launching Vibrante and wants Jabot’s blessing that this won’t turn into a brand war, insisting she answers to nobody but Victoria and has total autonomy to run things her way. Jack, ever the diplomat, has nothing but faith in her. Diane has nothing but suspicion, and it’s not really about the perfume.
Once Nikki’s gone, Diane doesn’t hold back โ she’s convinced this is less about market strategy and more about Nikki flirting her way through Jack’s goodwill, and she’s not shy about saying that if this were literally anyone else, Jack would already be plotting to crush the competition. When Jack refuses to see it her way, Diane accuses him of caring more about protecting his friendship with Nikki than protecting her feelings, which is the kind of sentence that tends to end an evening on a very cold note. Add in Detective Burrows turning up empty-handed on the Patty search, and Diane’s already bracing for round two of the stuffed-animal surprises โ this time with extra venom.
Is Diane’s jealousy actually onto something, or is she just spiraling after everything with Patty? Email us your theory at amber@soapoperamagazine.com โ we’re dying to know.
Sally Spectra Makes Peace With Her Past And Gets A Bridesmaid Out Of It
Sally sits down with Billy Abbott to explain that asking Chelsea Lawson to be a bridesmaid isn’t about relitigating old wounds โ it’s about finally being able to look at everything that happened the night Delia died and not drown in it. Billy’s not thrilled about the reminder, but he’s not going to stand in her way either, especially once she makes it clear Adam Newman is nowhere near that guest list.
Over at the Chancellor Park Cafรฉ, Chelsea and Adam are still processing Sally’s earlier heart-to-heart when Sally herself calls to say thank you and ask for round two in person. Chelsea’s barely off the phone before she’s second-guessing whether she overstepped, but by the time Sally arrives and pops the actual question, there’s no hesitation โ Chelsea says yes, fully aware Audra Charles is going to have opinions about this the second she finds out.
Adam Newman and Billy Abbott Can’t Go Five Minutes Without Sniping
Back at the Genoa City Athletic Club, Adam and Billy manage to be civil for approximately one drink before the digs start flying. Adam wants credit for helping bait the Patty trap; Billy wants Adam nowhere near his wedding. When Billy mentions Sally’s asking Chelsea to leave Adam at home, Adam doesn’t exactly promise to make this easy โ if Chelsea wants him there, he’s not turning her down, and he raises a very sarcastic toast to the idea of ruining Billy’s big day just a little.
Kyle Abbott and Victoria Newman Are Bad At Being Subtle
Kyle promises his parents he’ll watch his back on his way out the door, then immediately calls Victoria to set up an “in-person discussion,” which is doing a lot of heavy lifting as a euphemism. The two spend the day texting each other their “agendas” back and forth โ right up until Nikki wanders into the tack house and catches her daughter looking suspiciously flushed for someone supposedly just handling paperwork. Victoria plays it off as fine, fires off an urgent request to Kyle for an immediate “in-person,” and somehow nobody in this family has noticed the pattern yet.
Whose secret slips first โ Kyle and Victoria’s, or Diane’s grip on her own sanity? Sound off in the comments below.
Genoa City’s Business Meetings Have Never Been Less About Business
One woman’s charm offensive at the Abbott estate turned into a full-blown marital crisis nobody saw coming. One bride-to-be quietly rewrote her own history and picked up a bridesmaid in the process. Two men proved once again they can’t share a bar stool without keeping score. And two people who really should know better are one flushed cheek away from getting caught red-handed.
