If I know these writers, the surrogacy plea is the moment the adults in this family start comparing notes. Steffy Forrester survived the Beth swap, the Monaco meltdown and Sheila’s return. Surviving her own secret is a different fight.

Our take: Carter thought the danger was Daphne asking too many questions. The real danger was always Finn asking one. A husband begging his wife to stop is not a plot obstacle. It is a spotlight, and Steffy is standing in it with a secret that gets bigger every week.
