Beyond the Gates Recap September 24, 2026: Dani Dupree Tells Bill Hamilton Everything, And Hayley Lawson’s Alibi Comes In A Tiny Glass Vial

THIS BEYOND THE GATES RECAP BUSTS HAYLEY LAWSON’S POISON PLOT

TL;DR: This Beyond the Gates Recap catches Bill Hamilton learning from Dani Dupree what his wife has been up to right before Hayley Lawson is formally arrested after insulting her own lawyer Tomas Navarro, Dani coming clean to Andre Richardson and her very nosy parents, Martin Richardson propping up everyone but himself, and Leslie Thomas getting surprisingly gracious closure from Ted Richardson.

Dani Dupree Tells Bill Hamilton Everything

Bill Hamilton is stuck in a Garland hospital bed when Jacob Hawthorne marches in with a court order for his blood, since the cops now suspect someone has been poisoning him. Bill is livid to learn Naomi Hamilton Hawthorne slipped her mother the entry code so Dani Dupree could rifle through his house like a one-woman CSI unit, and he greets the news that Hayley Lawson tried to toss a shady vial by praising her for getting a lawyer. Then the results land: ethylene glycol, a sneaky poison Madison Montgomery says nobody thought to screen for, and one that would explain every seizure. Yes, the antifreeze stuff. So much for Hayley’s wellness tea.

Meanwhile, Hayley insists to her lawyer, Tomas Navarro, that the vial was hand sanitizer and Dani has tormented her for two solid years, then cracks that it’s no mystery why Bill never promoted him to partner. Poor Tomas gets it from both sides, since Naomi orders him to drop a client who tried to murder his own boss, and once Jacob warns a positive blood test means attempted murder charges, Tomas flat-out refuses to break the news to Hayley. Can’t imagine why.

Dani, meanwhile, gives Bill the director’s cut at his bedside: the break-in, the gun, and the not-so-subtle hints that Hayley wants him dead. Bill, who handed that woman the world, still clings to the hope his blood comes back clean. Oh, honey. Soon after, he and Dani walk into the station right as Hayley is placed under arrest. Hayley unravels, Bill looks gutted, and Leslie Thomas calmly polishes off a donut like the whole thing came with concessions.

Dani Dupree Comes Clean At Home

Turns out Dani told Andre Richardson she was having a mother-daughter sleepover. Pajamas, popcorn, and a little light breaking and entering. Back home, she shakes him awake and confesses everything, and Andre doesn’t mince words, calling it attempted murder. Then Anita Dupree and Vernon Dupree invite themselves over, because privacy has never once existed in this family, and the former senator warns the vial alone won’t hold up in court.

Once Dani heads off to see Bill, Anita declares her daughter’s days of getting sucked into Bill’s drama are officially over. The second the Duprees leave, though, Andre’s mind drifts to Heather Armstrong. Anita may think this marriage is in the clear. Anita has not met Heather.

Martin Richardson Holds It Together

At the club, Martin Richardson frets to his dad, Ted Richardson, that The Impaler is framing Smitty with some suspicious footage, and Ted assures him the truth will come out and might even make his marriage stronger. Sunny words from a man whose own marriage famously imploded.

Later, Martin finds his cousin Naomi falling apart at the café and pulls her into a hug. Somebody get Martin a vacation.

Leslie Thomas Gets Her Closure

After a flirty call with Shanice Johnson, Ted gets cornered by Leslie, who’s nostalgic for the days he sweet-talked her. Ted tells her their ship sailed decades ago, and when Leslie admits Marcel Malone might be her future, he cheers her on, saying she’s owed a man who looks at her the way Malone does. The most mature conversation in Fairmont Crest history, and it came from these two.

Growth only lasts so long, of course. Leslie promptly tells Vernon and Anita that one of the two women drew a weapon, then swings by the station to predict Hayley will be toasting her release by nightfall. Marcel’s reply? A skeptical “we’ll see.” Smart man.
